Paris Las Vegas
Las Vegas Strip
Blow by blow:

I love the casino here. Love the layout, the cobblestoneish walkways and drink service has always been good.

LOVE Paris! We always stay there. We get great drink service and the employees are very friendly and helpful.

I love the casino, alway been lucky there. The music from the lounges can be heard on the the casino floor and makes for a fun place. Wait staff are great alway around..

Like the location (mid-strip, across from Bellagio), and the fact that most of the time we are able to get a room with a view of the fountain show. Some of the best food in Las Vegas. Most rooms have been recently romodeled. All that, plus Harrah's (whether you love them or love to hate them) has the best comp program around.

Average rooms in upper midrange. GREAT restaurants and would stop an Mon Ami Gabi daily if I could.

Best thing about Paris is Mon Ami Gabi! the Eifel Tower restaurant is pretty cool too.

Best value on the strip. Prices and rates are usually "middle of the road" but the property amenities and layout exceeds it's rates. Comfortable gambling atmosphere. One of the best locations on the strip. You will be able to find properties that are "nicer" but I believe for the price...the most underated property on the strip. Case in point...I have never won at the Paris, but continue to gamble there...that speaks volumes for the atmosphere and ambiance.

In this era of de-theming and modernizing, thank goodness Paris still engulfs itself on pure kitschiness! Unbelievably detailed at ever corner, Paris remains the city's best themed resort by taking pride in it's whimsical glamour. From the beautiful chandeliers to the delicious baguettes, here's a resort that offers pure escapism. Now please just paint that faded balloon out in front!

LIke the newly remodeled Red Rooms with fountain view. Dining options are pretty good, if not the usual over priced strip fare. Still like hanging out at the piano bar in Napoleans and having a few drinks. Casino is still pretty smokey and play is tight here. Easy access to P-Ho next door which I prefer to play at. Still I like the older crowd here and drink service has been pretty good the last couple time I have stayed. I'll keep coming back as long as they give me free rooms.

Really nice hotel, but the casino was too dark. The breakfast buffet is very good with a wide variety of choices.

I like the Paris. The rooms are ok, sometimes with a view. The layout is a bit funky but you get used to it pretty easy. I don't like the walkway area as it seems a bit crowded. I do like that it is connected to Bally's.
Craps tables here are usually $10 and $15.

This place is what it would look like if they built a Disneyland in Paris! Wait, what? They did? Hmph. Well then it's nothing like that at all. But I still like the kitsch here. If you go, be wary of the big plastic Eiffel Towers that they fill with red slushy at Gustav's Bar. I heard a bartender admonish a customer that when condensation forms on this particular vessel, it gets slick and will slide down your hand and cut you with its sharp plastic edges. Sacre bleu!

Stayed here about 4 years ago and had a very enjoyable experience. Much like the Monte Carlo, it is very centralized on the strip and allows for easy access to many of the other casinos. Inside, it feels relatively small compared to many of the other casinos, but we personally enjoy that type of vibe. I would recommend this casino to anyone heading to Las Vegas.

If only more resorts had been built like this. Comes closes to matching that DisneyWorld-level of theming detail that pre-Palms hotels regularly promised and almost never delivered.

I really liked the setting in the casino. How they had the ceiling painted like the sky and had the "wind" blowing inside. It was neat. Very creative.

One of our favorite places to drink and people watch. The rooms are so so for how pricey they are.

The decor is nice, the dealers seemed friendly, and it's the only place I ever won big money at a slot machine. The Bruchetta d'Aqui red champagne at Napoleon's is also out of this world.

I honestly don't know why I like this place. The 6:5 blackjack rules suck but I have won here and had a good time doing so. I like the way the ceilings are painted here and in the Venetian mall. The ride up the fake Eiffel tower was expensive but the view is nothing short of awesome. Also had a great dinner at Mon Ami Gabi. Seemed reasonably priced (for Vegas) and we sat outside with a fantastic view of the strip and Bellagio fountains.

Paris has gone a little downhill over the years but after they finish remodeling the rooms, adding the nightclub and replacing the old casino carpet, the place will fully be back into tip-top shape.
But ultimantly, Paris just has a good feeling and to me, full of great memories of the family and stuff like that.

Our last trip to Vegas happened to be our first. We did the hokey tourist thing and went to the top of the Eiffel tower. Loved the place but the cocktail waitresses look out of place for a Parisian themed hotel.

I loved Paris before it became Harrah-ized. Now it is Harrah's with a french accent. Taking out the gorgeous fountain outside the resort broke my heart.

Stayed here one night and thought it was pretty cool. I like the theme and all.. plus they had a cool little sports book. Disappointed they took down the fountain for some lame Sugar Factory. The Red Rooms were awesome with a great view of the Bellagio fountains.

A great place for couples. Girls love this hotel. The indoor decor is French cobblestone village with boutique shops. Mon Ami Gabi is a great French bistro overlooking the Strip. The bathrooms have separate showers and bathtubs and two sinks. Furniture is old, and there's a little wear and tear in the basic rooms, but the beds are still comfortable. Pool is okay, but not great.

My room probably looked great when this place opened, but I was really disappointed for 2007. Except for the fancy bathrooms, I preferred the rooms in the Stardust tower that I got on closing weekend in Oct '06. The slots gobbled my money real fast which didn't inspire me to bet minimum $15 a hand those nights at the tables.

Paris, oh Paris, what happened? Seriously, WTF??!! When will Harrah's ever invest in some much needed "surgical enhancement" here? Well, I guess the new Sugar Factory is a start...But the "Disney-fied France" is getting old and worn. And the rooms look like "granny-pads". And everywhere from the rooms to the sports bars still have "boob tubes", for goodness sake! Oh, and did I mention the big balloon outside hardly has any paint left on top?If it weren't for Mon Ami Gabi being such a fabulous bistro, I would rate this place FAR LOWER...

I've been up the faux Effiel Tower in the past so I was a bit excited to stay here on my recent trip. One, it was the first time staying at a Harrah's property and two, I received a guest comp from a Total Rewards platnium member. Unfortunately, the bed was hard and stiff. It was pretty uncomfortable, and to top it off the bed would crinkle when you roll over. After grinding for 8 hours, i had the worst 5 hours of sleep in my life. It really messed up the remaining 30 hours I had left. Luckily, we were doubled booked at The Orleans. When we got back after Crazy Horse Paris, we packed up and checked out.

Back when I first started going to Vegas, I liked to play at Paris. The theme was cute, the buffet was world-class, and I wasn't discriminating about finding good rules or getting decent comps. But time has passed, and during that time Paris has gone downhill and I've wised up about what makes a good game. I still love the theme of Paris but its getting kinda grimy, Le Village Buffet has degenerated from a smorgasbord of fine French food to a supremely generic buffet, and I've realized that this is not a good place to gamble. But if you're looking for a lovely romantic meal, seriously consider the Eiffel Tower Restaurant. It may not have the name of a celebrity chef on the door, but it does have wonderful French cuisine in a truly exceptional space. The rest of Paris may not be recommended, but the Eiffel Tower is.

AWESOME HOTEL, rooms very comfy, tables nice (pretty generous), cocktail waitresses made lots of trips to our tables. Kinda lousey pool. Coyote Ugly waste of money.

Stayed here in just this month (Dec 2010). I was a little disappointed in the room ( Park Ave), but i love the casino and the resturants. The Atmosphere is great.

Great Atmosphere, great bars, great coaster. I really miss the river though. The last reno ripped out a lot of the stuff that made this place a bit different.

When I stayed at New York-New York it was great. When I booked my casino package it came with a few extras. So when I checked in they were so attentive to me and said that by me being a club member I was being upgraded to a larger room. When I got to my room it was a large corner room for about $69 per night. I also saw Zumanity which I recommend to every sexual red blooded american. It is great.

I stayed here with my friends for a weekend in 02. The room was fine. Basic but clean and had everything you need. The hotel is not as big as some of the others in Vegas, but that is a good thing. The pool is small, but pretty nice. I know they are in the middle of taking away a lot of the theme...that is what gives this place it's character.

Fun place to take groups. Smaller casino but not too small. Crappy restaurants but you can get greasy slices of pizza 24/7. Big Apple Bar is a fun spot. Always have a great time there.

Ahh new york new york what's to say about the big uhh property not apple lol... well for starters they have my utmost respect being they have nathan's dogs and lemonade mmm it was to die for . i was just here for a half day or so navigating the shops and stores and of course to ride the MANHATTAN EXPRESS coaster well for 14 bucks i could have done better use of my money but for a vegas trip and a serious coaster enthusiast it was pretty damn worth the 14 bucks as far as the casino it was a little on the small side which i guess could be bad or good. it thought it was easy to navigate the casino amidst the huge construction area downstairs and all the noise in the middle of the day. but as far as trying to find your way around the maze of the arcade to get to the coaster, good luck and have plenty of patience and hope you find someone helpful in directions on how to get there.oh yeah and beware of the ticket redemption counters and the rude personnel who tend them and the kids who walk around trying to snag your kid's tickets out of the game they are playing yes folks this did happen to us

Never stayed here. The gaming is average in my opinion, but I love fast and sit-down dining here. The pizza place in the little village part is really good for a late-night or just quick snack. ESPN Zone is overpriced as far as food goes but I found it very fun. Also, the dueling pianos are pretty cool. If you go during the week, there is no cover.

Great rooms and pool....love the times square bar and the dueling pianosterrible sports book

Zumanity. Birthday show. Rosey Palm and Horny Margarita. Pretty packed 9-10-08... Gonna check out another show 8-09 maybe.

They got rid of the Big Apple Bar and put in a cookie cutter center bar. I am not to pleased with that decision. Going to the Big Apple Bar at 8 AM was a tradition for my friends and I. Rooms are getting a little dated. We stayed in a Park Avenue Deluxe room facing the Strip. No complaints with the room. The armoire takes up a lot of room. Slots were pretty loose at the time of our trip so my fiance was pleased.

Stayed there when it was new.Still hit the American cafe for late eats on this end of the strip.,and still stare at the map.

A fun place to party. Tons of energy provided by a younger crowd. Fun roller coaster - especially at night. Saw Zumanity and it was a great show. Fun bars in a Greenwich village atmosphere. Loved the theme here. NYNY casino is Vegas kitsch at its best. Good sushi at Chin Chin. Good pizza at Sirrico's. Good coffee shop fare at Americas. Loved the decor and comfort of our Park Avenue room. Biggest downside was the small and uninspired pool.

Staying at NYNY was great. If you get a chance to see Phoenix at the Big Apple Bar you are in for a kick-ass classic rock good time! UPDATE: The big apple bar is no more. Unfortunate as it was a great addition ot the casino floor. The pool here is terrible

Did it. Done that. Rooms are small. Wasn't totally impressed. I'd still probably go back to ride the roller coaster and eat at Nathan's.

A desk clerk has ever told me “I’m sorry Sir, but I don’t think that I can take tips” when I tried the $20 trick. Rooms were cheap and you get what you pay for.
