Like the location (mid-strip, across from Bellagio), and the fact that most of the time we are able to get a room with a view of the fountain show. Some of the best food in Las Vegas. Most rooms have been recently romodeled. All that, plus Harrah's (whether you love them or love to hate them) has the best comp program around.

Average rooms in upper midrange. GREAT restaurants and would stop an Mon Ami Gabi daily if I could.

Best value on the strip. Prices and rates are usually "middle of the road" but the property amenities and layout exceeds it's rates. Comfortable gambling atmosphere. One of the best locations on the strip. You will be able to find properties that are "nicer" but I believe for the price...the most underated property on the strip. Case in point...I have never won at the Paris, but continue to gamble there...that speaks volumes for the atmosphere and ambiance.

In this era of de-theming and modernizing, thank goodness Paris still engulfs itself on pure kitschiness! Unbelievably detailed at ever corner, Paris remains the city's best themed resort by taking pride in it's whimsical glamour. From the beautiful chandeliers to the delicious baguettes, here's a resort that offers pure escapism. Now please just paint that faded balloon out in front!

LIke the newly remodeled Red Rooms with fountain view. Dining options are pretty good, if not the usual over priced strip fare. Still like hanging out at the piano bar in Napoleans and having a few drinks. Casino is still pretty smokey and play is tight here. Easy access to P-Ho next door which I prefer to play at. Still I like the older crowd here and drink service has been pretty good the last couple time I have stayed. I'll keep coming back as long as they give me free rooms.

I like the Paris. The rooms are ok, sometimes with a view. The layout is a bit funky but you get used to it pretty easy. I don't like the walkway area as it seems a bit crowded. I do like that it is connected to Bally's.

Craps tables here are usually $10 and $15.

This place is what it would look like if they built a Disneyland in Paris! Wait, what? They did? Hmph. Well then it's nothing like that at all. But I still like the kitsch here. If you go, be wary of the big plastic Eiffel Towers that they fill with red slushy at Gustav's Bar. I heard a bartender admonish a customer that when condensation forms on this particular vessel, it gets slick and will slide down your hand and cut you with its sharp plastic edges. Sacre bleu!

Stayed here about 4 years ago and had a very enjoyable experience. Much like the Monte Carlo, it is very centralized on the strip and allows for easy access to many of the other casinos. Inside, it feels relatively small compared to many of the other casinos, but we personally enjoy that type of vibe. I would recommend this casino to anyone heading to Las Vegas.

The decor is nice, the dealers seemed friendly, and it's the only place I ever won big money at a slot machine. The Bruchetta d'Aqui red champagne at Napoleon's is also out of this world.

I honestly don't know why I like this place. The 6:5 blackjack rules suck but I have won here and had a good time doing so. I like the way the ceilings are painted here and in the Venetian mall. The ride up the fake Eiffel tower was expensive but the view is nothing short of awesome. Also had a great dinner at Mon Ami Gabi. Seemed reasonably priced (for Vegas) and we sat outside with a fantastic view of the strip and Bellagio fountains.

Paris has gone a little downhill over the years but after they finish remodeling the rooms, adding the nightclub and replacing the old casino carpet, the place will fully be back into tip-top shape.
But ultimantly, Paris just has a good feeling and to me, full of great memories of the family and stuff like that.

A great place for couples. Girls love this hotel. The indoor decor is French cobblestone village with boutique shops. Mon Ami Gabi is a great French bistro overlooking the Strip. The bathrooms have separate showers and bathtubs and two sinks. Furniture is old, and there's a little wear and tear in the basic rooms, but the beds are still comfortable. Pool is okay, but not great.

My room probably looked great when this place opened, but I was really disappointed for 2007. Except for the fancy bathrooms, I preferred the rooms in the Stardust tower that I got on closing weekend in Oct '06. The slots gobbled my money real fast which didn't inspire me to bet minimum $15 a hand those nights at the tables.

Paris, oh Paris, what happened? Seriously, WTF??!! When will Harrah's ever invest in some much needed "surgical enhancement" here? Well, I guess the new Sugar Factory is a start...But the "Disney-fied France" is getting old and worn. And the rooms look like "granny-pads". And everywhere from the rooms to the sports bars still have "boob tubes", for goodness sake! Oh, and did I mention the big balloon outside hardly has any paint left on top?If it weren't for Mon Ami Gabi being such a fabulous bistro, I would rate this place FAR LOWER...

I've been up the faux Effiel Tower in the past so I was a bit excited to stay here on my recent trip. One, it was the first time staying at a Harrah's property and two, I received a guest comp from a Total Rewards platnium member. Unfortunately, the bed was hard and stiff. It was pretty uncomfortable, and to top it off the bed would crinkle when you roll over. After grinding for 8 hours, i had the worst 5 hours of sleep in my life. It really messed up the remaining 30 hours I had left. Luckily, we were doubled booked at The Orleans. When we got back after Crazy Horse Paris, we packed up and checked out.

Back when I first started going to Vegas, I liked to play at Paris. The theme was cute, the buffet was world-class, and I wasn't discriminating about finding good rules or getting decent comps. But time has passed, and during that time Paris has gone downhill and I've wised up about what makes a good game. I still love the theme of Paris but its getting kinda grimy, Le Village Buffet has degenerated from a smorgasbord of fine French food to a supremely generic buffet, and I've realized that this is not a good place to gamble. But if you're looking for a lovely romantic meal, seriously consider the Eiffel Tower Restaurant. It may not have the name of a celebrity chef on the door, but it does have wonderful French cuisine in a truly exceptional space. The rest of Paris may not be recommended, but the Eiffel Tower is.

Themed rooms (the "Mommie Dearest" suite), awesome restaurants (Pink's... so yummy!), unique entertainment (X-rated nursery rhymes), a rockin' music selection in the casino (love the nighttime dance mix), an underrated pool area (kickback and no crowds), shopping anyone can afford (two ABC Stores!), and unique little touches make this place a winner. Yes, it's gaudy, but it's gaudiness done in such high quality with everything from the purple headboards in the room to the rainbow crystal in the casino. Finally, a resort with more emphasis on fun than attitude!

my general home in vegas before and after the updating from the aladdin to the current PH. the new look is more modern with paneling all over and the biggest problem with the revamp is the stationing of the timeshare folks at the elevators off the casino for you to get to your rooms. the beds are very comforatble and they have added movie memorabilia to the rooms. the miracle mile has some of the best shopping and you cant go wrong eating at Cheeseburger, the Spice Marlet buffet and Planet Dailies, the 24 hour resturant.

This is where the crew normally stays. We cram as many as we can into a 2bdrm Panorama Suite, stock it with liquor and snacks and it becomes degenerate-central. The buffet is very, very good and I personally liked the gaming when I played here in 2009. Also, they have Pampas, which is that Brazilian dining where you go up to a buffet to get your sides and salad and then they come around to your table to slice the meats right onto your plate. Got a coupon that made it like $13 for lunch. Ate there twice and it was delicious and an amazing deal.

Gaming-wise, I have usually won here and I actually like the vibe of their casino. Have always wanted to stay here and now that it is part of Harrah's, I have been getting some really good offers. Hopefully their blackjack still pays 3:2 but I won't hold my breath now that Harrah's owns it.

I've just started staying at PHo. I've always gotten an upgrade from a Hollywood Hip room to a Resort room (with and without $20 trick). The Resort rooms have more square footage, but have a weird layout, in my opinion. The reason I think the layout is weird is because the TV isn't on the wall at the foot of the bed, so watching TV in bed requires you to look to one side or another. Windows make up the wall at the foot of the bed and are utilized as the main source of light in the room. This can cause the room to be fairly dark at times, especially at night when the floor lamps just don't cut it. The furniture that supports the flat panel TV (on the side wall) also provides the only closet & drawer space. The closet & drawer space is enough for one person for a weekend stay, but it wouldn't be nearly enough for a couple and/or for a longer stay.

The casino has a great vibe, but table game limits are a little high for those that are budget conscience. Having a small mall attached is nice, but keep in mind that if you self-park, you have to walk all the way from the back of the mall (and through it) to get to the hotel. Valet is the only way to go, but can get busy/full on weekends. The Spice Market Buffet is one of the better buffets that I've been to.

Overall, I'd definitely recommend PHo!

Young, hip, perfect placement on the map. This place is awesome. The best way to describe it is the accessability. It's not over-the-top expensive. It's simple and down-to-earth. The Miracle Mile shops have just about everything you need and a great mix of high-end boutiques and standard clothing shops.

While the pool isn't the best on the strip, it's a nice place to start the day. I highly recommend Earl of Sandwich and Planet Dailies. My wife and I spent 10 days here for our honeymoon (after getting married at the Bellagio). We got to know the staff really well and they were very accommodating.

Planet Hollywood made a solid attempt at trying to remake a ruined property, washing away 2/3rds of the former Aladdin (and giving Vegas aficionados a new game: "Spot the Aladdin Theme") while providing one of the best independently run casinos. Now part of the Harrah's fleet, who the hell knows what will happen.

Great fun vibe for a weekend night out. Watch out for b-list celebs working the Heart Bar. Friendly dealers and ok luck pervade. Planet Dailies has some great 24 hour food for your taking. Avoid the labyrinth of a mall and stay elsewhere though for the lack of updated rooms. Also look for those middle eastern touches from the past.

PH has a young hip vibe. It seems to cater to the 20s-30s age range. The casino and lobby has a very trendy, opulent look to it. Miracle Mile Shops are connected to the hotel, which makes it very convient for the shopping enthusiast. The delux rooms are nice and spacious. However, they do seem very dark and do not have enough lighting options. The bathroom is spacious with a seperate tub and shower. Overall, it is a very nice property and the location is ideal.

Great location on the Strip close to Paris and CityCenter. Checked in on a Thursday around 2pm so it didn't take all that long...at various points throughout my stay, I did notice long lines at the front desk. Received a handy coupon book upon check in. It came in handy while exploring various Harrah's venues on the Strip. The process was relatively painless and about 10 minutes later I was sent to my room on the 28th floor.

I had a standard Hollywood Hip room which was on the 28th floor close to North elevators. Room itself was clean, yet some of the furnishings were obviously worn. The bed was comfortable. It can seem like there's not enough lighting in the space, but keep in mind that some of the furnishings make the space look darker than it is.

Lots of options for dining on-site. I enjoyed Pink's and Earl of Sandwich especially, but there is a good range; cheap hot dogs like Pink's, mid range places like Koi and P.F. Chang's, and higher end joints such as Strip House. There also lots of places to eat in the attached Miracle Mile Shops as well, so you definitely won't go hungry here. I also tried the Spice Market Buffet, which wasn't bad either.

If I had one complaint, it would be that the casino is a pain in the butt to navigate. Even when sober. Try doing it after you've had a few drinks in you. The best strategy is to discover the best route and stick with it. Other than that, the atmosphere was electric, the dealers were nice, and had a young, trendy vibe to it.

Rates here can get high at times, but if you can get in here for under $125/night, it would certainly be worth it for the location alone. Overall, not a bad place. I'd stay here again for the rate I paid before, but then again, there are lots of other places on the Strip worth checking out.

The Rooms at PHO are very nice. For some reason I got put into a pseudo honeymoon suite. I had to go to the end of the hallway. Something that always happens to me no matter where i stay. Then go through a double set of doors into a foyer where there were too separate rooms. I call it pseudo honeymoon suite because the room was just a normal sized room other than the double doors and foyer. I think the other room might have been an actual honeymoon suite. All of the PHO rooms have some movie memorabilia in them. Mine had a huge wedding dress from some movie i have never seen. hence my reasoning on it being a honey moon suite.

Bed was nice and comfy,TV worked,Toilet flushed, water pressure was good in the shower, the view was OK, south strip view.

Casino-
I hated the poker "area" It was too noisy and cramped. The players at my table were below average tourist. But i just couldn't get comfortable there.

The rest of the casino was nice during the day. Playing classic rock and the like . But at night it turned into a giant disco. Blaring, and i mean Blaring the worst noise that today's one hit wonders could come up with. Autotune heaven. I couldn't stand it. And i am a metalhead to the bone. Walked over to the Bellagio so i could enjoy losing my money the VP machines .
Eats-

Loved Earl of Sandwich
Planet Dalies was very good, even if it is a bit pricey for a modern day coffee shop.
Spice Market Buffet is really good, So i hear. The line was always way to long for me.
Cabo Wabo is a cool place to hang out and drink Margaritas.
Other- Miracle Mile has lots of decent stores where normal people can shop.
The parking garage is in the back . Long walk to the casino.
Good place to celeb stalk. I saw Paris Hilton, for what it's worth.

I used to love P-Ho as an independent. In order to compete with mediocre rooms and a funny design and no slot club tie-ins, they had to offer better rules and a nicely designed casino floor and some great food. Then Harrah's took over. Now I won't go inside, other than to get to the fantastic Spice Market Buffet. But I'm sure Harrah's will replace that with their usual generic awful food soon enough. I mean, they destroyed the Paris buffet, why should we expect the Spice Market to survive?
