Wow. Got there for a free night's stay on April 30 a little early - gal at check in said that there wasn't a basic non smoking room available. So I offered to gladly take a smoking room (I can't imagine the smoking rooms at the Wynn being that bad) so she bumped me to a panoramic Strip view corner room on floor number 20 for free... SWEET! Only there for a night, but wow. Everyone talks about the bed... I was a little (majorly) drunk when I got into it but it was the most comfortable bed I've ever been in! The room was incredibly spacious. The TV actually said "Welcome Robert" or something to that effect when I walked in - majorly cool. Not sure I liked the orange halls, but I digress.... The staff was AWESOME - even came for turn down service, everyone was so friendly. Definitely a first class experience. Too bad I work at a bank and can't afford a room again.... lol

The rooms are nice ... but it know what its all about you MUST stay in a suite. I’m not trying to be a snob here, but from the private check in surrounded by bits of Steve Wynn’s art collection to the private suite hold pools – it’s the only way to roll. Eat at Alex and be amazed by the food without being overwhelmed, people watch at Parasol Down or play Pro or No in the B Bar after 11 pm. It doesn’t get much better then this.

This place sets the standards by which all other places aspire. Excellent service from every staff member I come into contact with. Only complaint I can find with this place is the prices at dinning establishments, but I guess that is the cost of excellence. Luckly the Venetian has some good dinning options nearby, along with forum shops. Drink service and gambling has been good every time. I even managed to Wynn a few bucks during last visit. I will return as long as they keep the room rates in my neighborhood.

Stayed here twice..service is excellent..check in folks address you by name and appreciate your business...best lunch buffet in the city..the Jerk Free Range Chicken is worth the flight to Las Vegas alone..
Great TVs in room..excellent beds..I sleep on a Wynn Plillow every night..always make a trip there to play..

Wynn is great for couples. Encore is a fun place to party. Standard guest rooms at Wynn are the best in Vegas. Beds are very comfortable. The ritzy casino and conservatory are comparable to Bellagio's. The swimming pool is even nicer than the beautiful pool at Bellagio. Great shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. Wynn equals or surpasses Bellagio in every respect except one- the Bellagio fountains.

Holy shit. No offense guys, but you probably should have made Wynn the douchebag nightclub capitol, and put the staid oldsters in Encore. Its schizophrenia aside, Wynncore is to me, as gorgeous and classy as anywhere in town, and XS and Surrender are probably the 2 most opulent nightclubs on the continent. Try and go right before they close or rebrand them in 10 years or so.

A step sideways from Bellagio. The casino is great for a modern, heavily-appointed property but the restaurants vary and the resort end is beaten by it's chief competitor. I've learned to respect the interior, even if I don't fully love it.

I have only been to the casino, but what a casino! I did not get the opportunity to play enough there but what an ambiance. The lobby, the casino floor were warm and inviting. I love red and the casino was a great display of red design. The slots were fun - I really can't wait to go back and find the Wynn Blazing 7s. I loved the interaction with the slot club card screen on each slot machine. Only wish they had web access to player comp points, promotions, etc. Hope to stay there one day.

I will be staying there for the first time in about a week. My boss claims this is his hands-down fave Vegas property. He's the one who encouraged me to sign up for the Red Card and gamble just a bit there. The Nugget, then Caesars were his faves before. Although there is no way I am willing to pay to play their table games, they have a great array of slots for the low-baller. I didn't walk out a big winner, but that's no difference from anywhere I go. I DID get a good amount of play for the money spent. The drinks are well served (one waitress tracked us down to the other side of the room to deliver out booze when we wandered off) and strong enough. I probably still wouldn't be staying here except they sent me a $120/night deal with $150 in free slot play as a player's club member (thanks boss!). We'll see if I'll feel compelled to do it again sometime after I see what the holiday experience brings....maybe another spot on the dice.

Probably best hotel on the strip. The only drawback is that the table limits are quite high and dealers seem to have an attitude if you are not shelling out the dough. Even if you are a steady $25 / hand BJ player, they seen to not really give a shit. I may be kind of dated here, because the last time I played BJ (for above reasons) was 2008. Good Video poker, good drink service in the slot areas. Nice sports book. Great pool area.

Wynn and Encore always creates mixed feelings in me. I love the look of the Casino. When I feel spendy, I enjoy playing there. As a people watching spot, both Wynn and Encore know no equal as the pretty people walk by to and from XS.

And yet....

Having stayed at the Wynn Tower Suites, in a Salon Suite no less, I couldn't help feeling that the service and the attention to detail was a little less than what I could have had at Four Seasons or Mandarin Oriental. This is not to say that the staff wasn't kind but there was a certain edge missing. I had to call a few times to get room service dishes cleared. I got only marginal advice from the concierge staff. The room was nice, but at Four Seasons and especially at Mandarin Oriental, the staff just went that extra little mile to make you feel comfortable.

Wynn Las Vegas, oh I want to love you so. I want to stay with you forever. But the fact that I don't gamble thousands of dollars makes me feel less at your properties. I love your rooms. I love your casinos. I love your bars. But when I interact with your staff, I don't get the same treatment I can at FS and MO, and that always creates a bit of difficulty. I'll come stay with you when I have the coin, but when push comes to shove, I can always take a cab to you, but who I sleep with is forever.

Lots of Rolex's, lots of tassels on the drapes. Despite the upper crust vibe, the place is friendly and fun. Comfortable rooms, comfortable beds. Great spa! The minus is the cafe, service gets slower every visit, but the food is good. Gasp at the prices of the beverages in the cafe, they rival the cost of the food. Sip water and drink in the casino for free.

It is very nice. I've seen Avenue Q and Spamalot and enjoyed that theatre and the shop both times. The shopping, while high-end, is nothing to toot your horn about. The casino is beautiful and yet I feel so cramped with the lowered roof. The observatory and te lake is noce. The best restaurant in the hotel is Bartolotta di Mare. i would stay there if I had a good view, but doesn't see dropping out alot of dough for the rooms.

A formerly great hotel & casino, until Wynn management started catering to the clubbers and slaughtering the restaurant lineup, which was once the best in town, but is now lackluster, repetitive and overrated...most of the staff is still the best in Vegas, though, although their hosting staff could take some customer service lessons from the rest of the employees...sadly, it seems the Steve's heart must be elsewhere nowadays (with Andrea? In Macau?), because it's certainly not in keeping Wynn/Encore up the standards by which it was run the first couple of years it was open...a sad decline, really, of a place that was once indisputably the best resort in Las Vegas, and now just coasts on its laurels but doesn't really deserve them anymore...

The rooms are awesome, the casino is confusing, prepare to walk miles to find a bathroom, so plan ahead. ;) The Venetian is always hopping. Some days its full of conventioneers, some days its the night clubbers hanging out. If they would just kick the scent down a notch that they pipe through the public areas and casino, this place could score a darn near perfect. Love the food at the Grand Luxe, portions are ginormous! Sorry, but IMHO this place is a faker. The Venetian claims to be "high-class", but beneath that "classy veneer" is just another aging, tacky, overly "Disney-fied" themed "convention factory" casino. The only reason I ever occasionally stop in here is because it has a few salvageable restaurants... But with David Burke and Charlie Trotter (at Palazzo) gone, I have even fewer reasons to bother with this place. Why do the impostor when I can get the real deal (Mirage, Bellagio, Wynncore) nearby?
