Wynn/Encore minimums

So, I originally was planning on staying at the Golden Nugget this weekend, (usually stay at a mid-tier strip like Harrah's/NY NY etc.) but an Encore deal that was basically the same price as my room at Golden Nuget fell into my lap that was too good to ignore.
I am a bit skeptical of actually gambling at the Wynn/Encore though, because I anticipate the minimums will be ridiculous. I typically play Pai Gow, Blackjack, and the Texas Hold-em Table game (the one where you play the dealer heads-up). Any idea what the minimums will be at the Wynn this weekend? $25 for blackjack and paigow, $10 for Texas? (gulp). Less?

I hope you factored in the $25 per night Wynn resort fee in your deal comparison.

Yeah, the $25 resort fee sucks, but even with the fee, the Wynn/Encore deal was a much better value.

at least during the day you should be able to find $15 bj.. it's hit on soft 17 though.

During graveyard shift you might be able to find a few $25 S17 BJ tables over on the Wynn side.
Emphasis on the "might."

If those are the minimums you want to play, there's no reason to bother at Wynn. They won't comp you enough to make it worth the effort to play there, so just play at your preferred property and see if you can get a food comp from the host's office if thats your goal.

If you're staying at Encore and want to play blackjack, you should probably walk over to the Palazzo, where the rules are generally better & the house advantage lower on blackjack than they are at either Wynn or Encore (unless you're playing $100+ minimum). Well, that's if you can stand the smell of Palazzo's casino, anyway...

You're kinda comparing apples to oranges here, but, I gotta ask, the Palazzo "smells bad" ? Wait, what? Specifics, please, for us who are living vicariously until we can return to the Tragic kingdom...Thanks.

It's not that the Palazzo smells bad, per se, but rather that the heavily perfumed smell that LVS pumps through Venetian & Palazzo is, for a lack of a better word, polarizing...some poeple love it, some people hate it, and I am one of the people who hate it.
