Jaleo vs. Julian Serrano

Thinking about taking some friends (a group of 8) to get some tapas. I've heard good things about Julian Serrano, but Jaleo looks very promising as well. I'd like to know which place you guys think is better. Who' got the best tapas? Who's got the better Sangria? Thanks in advance!

Been to both and enjoyed both. I guess it depends on the atmosphere you are looking for more. Jaleo is in the Cosmo and it is a kinda loud, busy full, restaurant that has music and is kinda trendy upbeat. Julian Serrano in the Aria is a bit laid back, open air, and quieter. The food is very good at both and you will not be disappointed with the fare of either. I think it just depends on the crowd you are looking to dine with.As for the Sangria both are very good and will get you there!Enjoy!

It's good to know that we can't go wrong with either Jaleo or Julian Serrano in terms of food and drink. I guess atmosphere will be the deciding factor. Thanks again!

I haven't been to Jaleo so I cannot fairly compare. That said, I absolutely love Julian Serrano. The tapas are fantastic and the paella is delicious. I like their white sangria too.

Jaleo is better on all fronts. Especially for a group of eight. Ask for the foosball table.

Very comparable places that can get busy and loud. Julian Serrano is the only choice for lunch.

I prefer the food at Julian Serrano, but Jaleo has the better vibe.

If you really like paella, you should go to Jaleo. If you want jamon iberico, you should go to Julian Serrano. The tapas at both are great. Jaleo gets louder/more energetic, so if you want to get loud with your friends, I'd suggest Jaleo. If you want to talk with your friends and hear each other, I'd go to JS. Good beer selection at both.
