MGM Grand upgrade

Started by CBB48Vegas on Wednesday, 25th January 2012 5:12 pm

got an email from the MGM Grand tonight and it was advertising a free upgrade to a newly remodeled room. I don't know if it would be worth the stay in the giant emerald. I have done the MGM Grand once and it was a West Wing room.

Supposedly there's a VT review coming soon! Maybe you should wait to make your decision until after its release.

i thought it was funny how it said on the email was that this was 4 years in the making. its been almost 4 years since i have stayed at the MGM Grand

Was going book their new room for my buddy's bachelor party... until I read the fine print... that they charge a hundred dollars a night per incidental. (we're planning on staying 4 nights) that was a deal breaker, since that is one of my vegas pet peeves.

This is Vegas. A Hampton Inn is going to authorize your card for incidentals.

Stay tuned. Just got done with a stay in a new room and the review will be coming shortly. (As in as soon as I get it written and to Herr Monster after dealing with this grad school class nonsense.)

Just returned today after a week in heaven.
The lobby had a mock-up room on display that looked pretty good. Between this and the feel I got from the casino changes, I'd stay there again, and it's been about ten years since my last stay there.

I'm curious about the bathroom - wasn't much of it going to remain the same? Looking forward to the review.

The stone remained the same, otherwise everything was swapped out. The result, quite good I think. The review is pushed into the pipes, and should be posted soon.
