3 Card Poker Now Face Up at MB

3 card poker is now dealt face up to all players at Mandalay Bay. The players hate it. The dealers hate. I cycled through two dealers and they both asked if we'd write a letter to complain. Apparently the decision was made to increase the number of hands dealt per hour.
It totally ruins the suspense of that game. It's not exciting anymore.

This is not just happening at Mandalay. I played a bit tonight at MGM Grand, and sat at a table before realizing it was dealt up 3 card. I nearly left, but stuck around to see how it changed the play. Sure it goes a bit faster, and there is still some suspense if your dealer reveals slowly (which mine did) but overall its a total 180 from the fun that is seeing that one card, betting, and waiting. I won't be playing this version again soon.
That being said, getting a straight flush 15 minutes in made it a little less painful.

i can't see it making much of a difference in play, much like playing blackjack and getting cards dealt face-up vs. face-down.

that blows, now that i blow through my money faster im guessing i will have to pick up a part time job in vegas, anyone know where the bums get the cardboard from? maybe i can come up with clever signs and the bums will buy them from me. since every tourist nickle is being battled for inside the casino's i might as well target a demo that nobody else is going after. or maybe portable 1 dollar water bottle vending machines. hmmmmmmmmmmm
