Flamingo pool?

It's always been one of my favorites on the strip, icing on a low-to-mid-roller cake. Has it gone the way of the day club? I thought that movement fizzled a few years ago, but wtf do I know. Last time there (June 2010) one could enjoy the main pool until noon or so before it got too load and gross. I'm usually ready for shade by 1 anyway.
Any one have a "pool report" from this summer? Also, it's difficult to see on the Flamingo site when the pools shut down for the winter.

i spent some time at the flamingo pool a month ago.
the old "Go Pool" is now the under 21 pool, including the top half of the slidepools. The "big pool" with the grotto is now 21 and over pool... expect loud rock music and tons of beer drinking. it isn't a douchetasm.
the pool will be open until the temperatures go down and demand goes down. right now, we're having continual heat waves in the south western part of the country, so they should be open for a while, probably mid-october.
it is also worth nothing that the Flamingo pool is directly adjacent to Linq construction... which may impact your enjoyment levels and could close the pools earlier than planned.

What are those pools where you can find a girl to actually have sex *in* the water with you. Wet Republic? Others?

Encore's European Pool...proof? A group of us watching the fucking going down from our cabana last trip. Right there in the pool. Needless to say we stayed out of the water.

Isn't the Linq project on the other side of the hotel?
Chuckmonster replied on Wednesday, 26th September 2012
Linq construction is on two sides of the hotel. With the removal of the Flamingo's tennis courts, the pool is now abutted to the Linq construction zone.
If you imagine... to the west of the flamingo is The Strip. To the South, Bills, to the East the Hilton Vacation time share (and some Linq construction) and to the north the IP/Quad/full on Linq construction.
