I'm no fan of resort fees but... this is pretty dumb. As far as I can tell we can't even determine what hotels he's comparing.

A point I have made numerous times. It's just impressive MGM (I have to assume) takes the time to answer individual inqueries.

I don't believe this is MGM. I believe it's most likely a disgruntled ex-employee who was fired from CET, or just one of Nevada's passionate weirdos like the taxi driver who wouldn't stop telling me about what a great community Pahrump is.
If MGM is going to have a sanctioned promotion, they aren't going to do it by photoshopping horns on to pictures of Gary Loveman.

I think it's good that someone is pointing out the other side. On many message boards when newbies ask for hotel recommendations they are instantly told to dismiss the "evil" resort fee properties. Instead people should be told to do the math. Whoever runs that page is telling people to do the math which is the right message.
