MLife + Platinum = Free Cruise?!

So I just got a M-Life flyer in the mail and it's telling me that Platinum members get a free *annual* cruise...
What's up with that?

It's a new partnership w/ Royal Caribbean that started in January. Total Rewards does a similar deal, but they are generally lower-end 3-day Celebrity cruises. I'm guessing you are eligible for a discounted cruise at Platinum (e.g. free companion ticket), but it really isn't free until at least Noir.

Got the same offer a year and a half ago and signed up. They comped a seven day cruise for two. I got the tickets and all cruise info in the mail and was ready to go, but was unable to go, so can't say what the stateroom was like or anything about it. May be worth your time to check it out.
