Bellagio's Chinese Lions?

Was going over some photos from my last trip in January and had noticed they put the Chinese Lions on pedestals but I thought it was something for Chinese New Years. Tonight I came across this video showing an unveiling back in early December which makes me think they put new ones in...

Except the new ones look the same as the old ones (at least from the photos I have)
Any idea of the story behind this?

The white pedestal and the portion that foo dogs actually sit are new. It looks like the dogs themselves are actually the same, though. They have had the same statues out front for over ten years, it was probably time for a freshen up.
