Favorite Cheap Oceanfront rooms in AC?

Never been to Atlantic City and am trying to wade through the oceanfront room choices.
I need the cheapest decent oceanfront room, ideally with a patio, but as long as I can smoke up in the room I don't really care.
Any help appreciated~

This past summer I stayed in a corner Suite at The Atlantic Club for about $ 135 per night ( during the week ) It was a great room, it looked to be about 650 sqft or so. One window facing the ocean, the other looking down the boardwalk. It felt like this had bee a GREAT room when the property was a little younger. It didnt have a balcony, and I'm not even sure if it was a smoking room or not. But, right next door is the Ocean Club Condos. They are all privately owned Condos, but a lot of people rent them out. You can look through the local real estate firms that serve AC and rent one. They do have a balcony. Also, if you go through a Real Estate for something private, and they suggest something not in a highrise, I would be a little worried. There are a bunch of condos for rent south of the Atlantic Club, but that's not a great part of town. As far as the rest of the Casinos go, I'm sure you can get a good deal at Trump Plaza and Resorts, but they dont have any kind of private patio like you were looking for.
Another Condo Tower you can rent with a balcony is the Flagship. Its all the way on the North end, where the boardwalk bends right past Revel.
