Trying to convince my friends to stay at The D and get a suite. Instead of a Grand Tower room at LVH. There's 5 of us... me and the bachelor, have no problem staying on Fremont. The other 3 are more stay on the Strip guys. The D suite looks awesome ! and fits the bachelor trip. Any other suggestions on hotels ? (Without resort fees).

We did the Mirage Tower suite for mine. It was great, bc it was a huge area to hang out in and very nice and only $830 for three nights. I don't think there was a resort fee on it, but the regular rooms do. Honestly, the resort fee shouldn't deter you from a property. Just add it in and compare total costs. Paying the extra $20 per night can be a better value if it is a better hotel. For example, I stayed at Harrah's in Aug and then Mirage in Dec. Mirage with resort fee was a better value than Harrah's without. Also, the Mirage was good bc the regular rooms can be pretty cheap depending on when you go, but still nice. And you got cheap gambling across the street at Casino Royale, nice facilities at Wynncore and Venelazzo, and an easy walk to Cosmo for that scene. (And a $7 cab back from the Rhino....)

LVH is no good for a bachelor party. It is off-strip, so you have to cab it anywhere you want to go. Also, LVH has no club, a plain pool, and limited food options. Try MB or PHo if you want to be on the strip.

We just booked a two bedroom at Elara for $826 for two weekend nights for a buddy's bachelor party. It's slightly off strip, but still just a short walk through the Miracle Mile Shops to the PH casino. The rooms come with a King bed in each BR and have a pull-out bed in the living room. Also included is a full kitchen (which we probably won't use, but still might come in handy) and an 8-foot projection TV. I thought it was a great value to fit all 5 of us with a decent location on the strip. Best of all: No resort fees!

The D is the new hip spot in Vegas. Definitely alot more fun then LVH! The D's young sexy Dancing Dealers are always a lot of fun when it comes to Bachelor Parties or any kind of partying!!! In addition, if you consider the Strip it will cost you alot more and less personal service. If your interested in The D. You can always email Social@theD.com they always help me!! Good Luck...

I'm happy to share YOUR Vegas Connection, but only if we connect on my Vegas... and by my Vegas I mean MyVegas, not MYvegas.

Get a suite at the D or the Golden Gate if you like a classic Vegas experience with modern amenities. And ignore any haters who think Downtown Vegas can't hack it.
Get some rooms at Planet Hollywood or the Monte Carlo if you want cheap(er) access to all of the sights (aka the women) on the Strip. And cover the cost of those resort fees by buying almost reasonably priced alcohol at the nearby drug stores.
Skip the Hilton; it's too far off the Strip. The only off-strip casino hotels I'd consider for a bachelor party are the Hard Rock and the Palms (if it were 1999 instead of 2013).

I get that these guys didn't want to stay off the strip at The D. I had my Bachelor party last year in Vegas and I sure as hell wasn't about to stay downtown for that. Not that there is anything wrong with downtown or anything like that before everybody jumps all over me. There is just something about being on the strip in Las Vegas that can not be duplicated. For me personally I liked the view better on the strip better and the chicks were just more our style if that makes any sense. But the main important factor was that we stayed on the Strip because I was the Groom and that's where I wanted to go. If the groom is cool with staying at the D then you guys are staying at the D period. Don't let those other losers turn the trip into being about them or it will be over before it starts. Good luck
P.S
When did LVH become downtown? It's way out not even in walking distance of the strip.

LVH sucks! The bathtub is bigger than the pool! North End of the strip is a ghost town. Only reason to go to the LVH is the Sportsbook! Only reason to go to the North End of the strip is the Stratosphere Rides! The trip is all about the GROOM! Stay where the Groom wants to stay and hope its not Terribles! Bachelor trip you gotta do whatever the Groom wants to do and tells you to do! Get on your knees G**K! LOL Sounds like the Grooms name should be Guy cause he likes to be crammed into a room with 4 other guys!
