Bellagio booze room

Saw this article via Las Vegas sun, thought others who like the 'behind the scenes' info might enjoy reading. Great pics.
I also truly appreciate the URL's condensing of the article title:
"Drinking bellagio - how booze travels, secret room, yo"
Amazing system though I would have thought they go through more liquor than that. Article says "40 bartenders on every shift dispense an average of 67 shots each" = 2680 shots per shift = 8040 shots per day...meaning that fun fact - if my buddy and I end up having 20 drinks each over the course of a marathon blackjack session, together we have consumed 0.5% of Bellagio's daily liquor! :)

Agree that it is an interesting article. Remember, this room is only for the resort bars so none of the restaurant or outsourced bars (Petrossian, Hyde, Bank, etc...) use this system.

Although it seems to me you'd get some cross contamination at the "gun" point? Not in a bait-and-switch way but in a - I just poured a shot of vermouth and now I'm pouring a shot of Makers... I would think there'd be some flavor contsmination.
(I don't notice it with them new-fangled coke machines though... But you pour a lot more so a little Sprite contamination in your Coke probably wouldn't be as noticeable.)
