This made me smile:
Do architects not learn from their mistakes?!?

From someone who has a state building designed by Helmut Jahn made of glass that bakes the office workers inside it every summer-the answer is no.

Helmut Jahn designs on the linear, Vinoly on curves. Jahn is definitely a mistaken alignment, Vinoly is a repeat offender.

Perhaps Rafael Viñoly needs to start designing solar power plants instead of skyscrapers.......

GOOD architects do. That being said, these folks have people paid tons of money to make sure everything is correct. That said, if you design a building as complex as a 40 storey hotel or high rise, somethings slip through.
Not an excuse but a reality. Gehry did it with the concert hall here in LA. Sometimes shit happens.

Bummer the video did not have the 'victim' but was just a promotion for the building.
Although I do have to say that next time I visit London I will check out the park and other visitor attractions. looks to have great views of many city landmarks.
