it's a decent buffet. but not as good as the bellagio, the wynn, or m resort. the best dishes in this place seemed to be anything lamb. not many vegetable choices. place felt like a cafeteria to me. then again i've only eaten lunch here midweek.
The buffet at Aria is a great value for breakfast. A $14.99 breakfast gets you the same quality food you could find at Bellagio right down the road, but for a smaller price. It's not Bouchon for breakfast, but it's well made food and the price is right. If you're hungover near the Aria at breakfast time, stop in and chow down while throwing back some mimosa's. If I have one complaint it's that, much like everything in city center, it's a bit of a journey to get to. Pros: Made to order omelets and breakfast burritos. Cons: Honestly citycenter, you didn't have to make EVERYTHING hard to find.
The food is well-prepared, and there is a lot of variety with more Asian and Indian dishes than most buffets in the area. As other commenters have said, the atmosphere is a little bit like a cafeteria, and if there were a lot of people trying to load up their plates you'd end up shuffling along in formation waiting to get what you wanted. The serving area (and dining area) are lit up with fluorescent and natural light, so you don't have a warm, cosy feeling from the food presentation, it's more school lunch than appetizing.
We're not those people who load up big piles of crab legs and then leave half for the garbage, but you feel like the servers behind the counter are giving you the stink eye if you take even just a couple legs, and that's not my idea of a good time.
