Always a winner here, good food, huge portions, and quick service. Yes the line to get in can be long, but once seated I've never waited long for my order to be taken and delivered. At first I was a bit put off by the prices, but the food lives up to the costs, one of the best BLTs in the world there.

I've been very happy with service and food here on every trip. While it's a high priced coffee shop, I've always found a couple of things on the menu, that stroll outside of standard fare. Last trip I had a stuffed french toast dish with raspberries for breakfast, that would have held it's own on Bouchon's menu. If you are a guest at Bellagio and have any type of measured play, I'd suggest checking with the players club for a line pass for the buffet and coffee shop for your stay.

It's 3:15am on Saturday. Your stock portfolio has been clubbed like it made fun of Chuck Liddell's mom, and you just started your "stress relief" Vegas trip watching in numb shock as river card after river card eats your rack of reds at the 15/30 hold'em table. You drift past the whirr of the carpet cleaner, and glance at the baccarat den, full of real estate barons scribbling notes and pushing stacks that dwarf your annual salary. You pass the lobby and inhale the faintest trace of nature in the conservatory. Sitting down in the coffee shop, you are grateful for the isolation from the gold and lights and people and slots and chips and chips and chips. The coffee shop is space, quiet, comfort. You get French Onion Soup, and a big spoonful of cheese, saturated bread, and veal stock.

Delicious. This trip might turn out ok after all.
