I had one of the three best meals in Vegas ever at Guy Savoy. Classically French. Classy to a fault. Thank God I was there with someone who spoke French, because the person pushing the candy and cheese carts could barely speak English. But do you know what? Good food knows no language barriers. And this was some of the best classic French I have had.
The wine list was so big, when they brought it out, they brought out it's own $*($#% table to rest on while you looked it. The sommelier seemed a little out of his depth when we requested a wine pairing with the 300 dollar tasting menu, but his selections (save for one) on each course were spot on.
Be dressed for the occasion. Prepare to make an evening out of it. If you can steal a French speaking friend for the meal, do so. But above all, make it rain cash and you will be treated to the best service and some of the best French food ever.
