The Excalibur steakhouse used to have more of a special feel about it as a relatively upscale escape from some of the banality that is the Excalibur, in particular their lousy buffet. The last couple of years they've added diner food like chicken pot pie and meat loaf to the menu to broaden the selection and offer lower priced items. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but now it's not so much a steakhouse, and the focus is no longer on the quality of the steaks and steakhouse-style side dishes.
