Simply put,
Food = delicious
Service = horrible
I realize that service varies from experience to experience, so I'm basing my rating just on the food quality.
First, the good. The food was delicious. I got the nodino (veal), which was cooked perfectly. The taste was at a perfect balance, neither too bland or too overpowering. I also had the chance to sample their filet mignon, which was also delicious.
For dessert, we got the Cioccolato and the Crochette. If you like chocolate, you definitely should get the the cioccolato. As for the crochette, the sauces that they serve with the fancy donut holes are AMAZING. I could have probably eaten a bowl of just the almond sauce. With just my hands. On the veal. Yeah it's THAT good.
Now the bad: The service was absolutely horrible, in every aspect. We had to wait a long period of time to be seated even through I had made reservations. The waiter seemed very rushed, and was scarce most of the meal. He would walk away WHILE answering questions we had. After ordering dessert, he came back after 35 minutes to tell us that the "pastry system had gone down" and he needed to take our order again. Who knew that the dessert menu had such an elaborate sophisticated system behind it? That took another 20 minutes. Luckily, the company was great, so I didn't really notice how long we had been waiting until after the fact.
