No food served here, but this is the spot to go on the strip, if you are looking for one of the following. 1. Good rum 2. Inspired mixed drinks3. Cigar Bar4. Great outdoor patio5. Outstanding serviceRhumbar has all of the above and more. Drink prices are on par with all strip lounges. What sets it apart is it's open areas, bright colors, and sophistication without coming close to pretentious. The bartenders are always friendly and visit enough times and you can expect to be remembered by name on your welcome. The location drives a ton of foot traffic, so even when they aren't holding an event (salsa dance on the patio, open mic, etc) you can expect a decent crowd. Not interested in some of their events, stay inside and chill out at the bar, the clientele that wanders in here is more then likely to have similar interest and tastes to you, so it tends to be a nice spot to strike up some conversation as well.

My most recent visit here was in March 2011. I have to drop the rating down a bit to a 4. Service has dropped a bit here in my opinion, as the staff continues to turnover, which always is a bit concerning in an establishment like this.

The other issue I've found lately is the place tends to be understaffed regularly, waits for service can be excruciating, and they seem to be unable to keep their premium rum in stock regularly.

It's still worth a visit during a trip, I'm just not sure it's worth more then one per trip anymore.
