The Striphouse is located on the second level of the Casino, right next to the Peepshow entrance. This review is based off a trip to Las Vegas in June 2010.Service: Waitstaff was average, considering that the place was not packed on a Monday evening at around 8pm. Seating took about 15 minutes, and getting a waiter took another 10 minutes. Once the waiter came around, service was ok from there.Food: I ordered the Filet Mignon, cooked Medium, along with some Wild Mushrooms, Potatoes Romanoff and Creamed Corn with Pancetta. The wild mushrooms were excellent, the potatoes were heavy for my taste, and while the creamed corn was good, as explained by my dinnermates, something just didn't seem right to me. My filet was good, but not melt-in-your-mouth good as I have experienced in other steakhouses in the city. For desert, we had the Striphouse chocolate cake. 20 layers of over the top chocolate goodness. I'm not a sweets kind of guy, but it was good, surprisingly light, and full of chocolate flavor. To me, that's too much, but to others who love chocolate, I'm sure it will hit the spot nicely.Price - expensive, as one would expect from a high-end steakhouse.I've been to a few steakhouses in my lifetime, so I can safely say that this is on the lower end of the upper tier of restaurants. While I can say with little doubt that the food was good, there was something that was missing that I can't quite put my finger on. It is that little something that prevents me from totally recommending it.
