The one buffet I make it a point to always hit when I am in town. If there are lines to get in the wait isnt that long because the staff keeps things moving. The stations are well laid out and the variety of food options is damn near perfect. The fruit is always fresh. The breakfast selections are cool. As for the main meals the options at the carving station includes some of the tastiest meat ever. And when you have wandered from American, Mexican and Mediterranean hit the desert area for the best banana cream pie ever.

I'd consider this buffet a step down from Wynn and Bellagio. It's had periods where the food hasn't maintained that level though, which can be do to when you are eating and how long something is sitting there. The offerings though are unique enough in my opinion though to rate it a bit higher then the middle tier buffets. The room itself is below the casino and if there's a line, it can be very long as either they aren't letting people wait in the downstairs area or it's backed up that far. I'd recommend those interested in a buffet checking it out once for themselves, but I wouldn't recommend making a trip just to eat here.

Good Price/Food Quality ratio. The food stations are set up via cuisine. Asian/Mexican/Middle Eastern/Italian etc... and of course Seafood.

1) If you booked a room at Planet Hollywood, check the coupons that come with the room to see if there's a 2 for 1, or other coupon that applies.
2) Eat at offbeat times. Eat Lunch at 12, or Dinner at 7-9 and you may run into a long line that goes up the staircase before spilling into the casino. I always have dinner around 5 if I can help it to avoid the rush. The king crab legs are served cold, but if you plate up a bunch of legs and place it on top of the "sneeze guard," the chef behind the counter will heat them up for you. I've always eaten the cold stuff and wondered why people pile them a foot high on their plates. The hot stuff is delicious in comparison.
3) The Skewered veggies at the middle eastern station is delicious! Succulent, with nice large flavorful crystals of salt. The meat skewers can be dry, so dont be greedy, you can always make a second trip. Trust me on the Zuchinni though... I'd KILL for more of those.
4) Dessert is hit or miss, but it's a buffet! Try one of each, you cant go wrong.

5) Bonus* If you or someone somehow is able to disable their swirly icecream machine, they break out the Haagen-Daz! If not, feel free to prepare your own swirly cone. They have some of the crispiest, crunchiest sugar cones I've ever encountered, and you can top up your ice cream if you prefer.

I always make a trip out to this buffet, and it wont be changing anytime soon.

A good choice for breakfast because of the wide variety of menu items, including fruit smoothies and breakfast hash made with turkey as an alternative to corned beef. They also serve those panko breaded fried shrimp at both lunch and dinner.

Still Las Vegas' best buffet, Harrah's hasn't been in the joint long enough to ruin things yet. The Middle Eastern station remains a standout.

Breakfast Review -- First keep your eyes posted for the Total Rewards quarterly magazine. Depending on your play, there is often a coupon for free buffet for two on the inside cover.

I usually rate buffets based on my own HEIITSAB scale (How Easy It Is To Steal A Banana). I made it out with 6 bananas which means a couple things. 1) There is a plentiful supply of bananas at the buffet. 2) No one is bringing water, taking your plate or even noticing your are there.

However, from a food quality standpoint this place rocks. Of particular note where the different types of sausage. It wasn't just the nasty Denny's style little links, but also giant spicy Italian stuff. There are cereals for children. There are fruits for your wife, bacon for your horses and plain yogurt for those willing to walk on the middle-eastern side.

This is a breakfast review. I've had good experiences here for lunch and dinner. Breakfast was close to awful. Breakfast sandwich biscuits hard as bricks, food out for way to long under the sun lamp, very little variety of options, you name the problems with a buffet and the day I visited they seemed to have it.

I think they'd be better off shutting down half of the stations and just focusing on some of the dishes and making them well for breakfast, since so many are very similar, (think eggs, vs eggs with herbs kind of different).

I'm sure this factored into my disappointment too, but no cupcakes available for breakfast buffet, at $20 for breakfast, they need to free the cupcakes (which incidentally are just behind on the shelf)

This buffet has gone down in quality. It took way to long to get a table on a non busy night and they have sectioned off too many places for diamond customers. The food is good but it took forever and a day to clear off the plates I used. The desert area is just as big but the move to push cupcakes instead of pie took away one of the things the place was good at.

My Rating: 5

Enjoyed dinner buffet..reasonable price...wide variety of food options...would return.
