The Vsuite Vlife (Part II)
Vdara Penthouse Suite Review By LAVegasphile
VT reader LAvegasphile recently had a gonzo stay at Vdara of all places and brought back TWO fascinating reviews of their higher end suite product. The first was a peek inside Vdara's Hospitality Suite, this one is a review of the Vdara Penthouse Suite. Thank you LAVegasphile for sharing these two groovy reviews!

If you read my previous room review about Vdara's hospitality suite (post link here), then you would have read that THIS is the room we were supposed to have all three nights, Vdara's nicest (to my knowledge anyway); the two bedroom, two story Penthouse! This is by far the highest I have ever stayed, and the first time being at the top of a hotel more than 24 stories. You can't help but feel kingly on the top floor of such a tall hotel. The vapid, LA part of my personality really enjoyed punching the floor 56, eliciting comments more than once. "Oh yeah we're in the 2 story Penthouse..." it kinda gave me a semi being able to casually say that. To me, having two stories is nearly akin to having a balcony. Especially when you are confronted by this view upon entering the Penthouse...

We were in room 56001, at the Northeast corner of the building. We could see about 90% of the Bellagio Fountain Show. For a view Cosmo, you might have to cough up an extra 50 bucks a night.

Stroll down the hallway...

And past the half bathroom...

...into the enclosed kitchen area. Notably smaller than the Hospitality suite, but still totally functional with the full size fridge and Keurig coffee goodies, sans mini bar.

Nice review. FYI with the executive corner, the space layout is progressive, moving room to room, and there's a major design flaw. The return air grille is right beside the bed. This creates a major lack of humidity for those who don't like waking up dried out like a piece of jerky. Otherwise nice.
Dear penthouse...
Nice review of both suites...not a big fan of the more modern/minimalist look, but the views are amazing and the amenities are nice. Thanks for sharing the photos and commentary!
Thanks for reading everybody!! I promise from now on I'll take better pictures!!
Interesting, we stayed in a Panoramic Suite at Vdara once and it looked exactly the same as this, minus the upper floor. And I mean exactly the same, both the room layout and the furniture.
It was an excellent stay though, also on a very high floor. Actually, it might have been the suite directly below this one.
funny how I read these awesome reviews and try to log on to the MLife page and it says the following
"WE'RE SORRY!

improvements. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Not that I would know how to find the glitches but I was still curious.
