The Flamingo Fab Rooms: The VegasTripping Review 2012
Peeping the New Rooms at the Dirty Bird
Perhaps the first thing you notice about this room is the lack of carpeting other than the accent rug in front of the TV. The whole room has been done up in a plastic faux wood that looks... well... cheap. And really fake. Other than a big crusty pile of dried up liquid next to the nightstand, there were no dust bunnies or stains in the room. Carpet hides a lot of dirt.
Our room came in a dual queen configuration, which was great as I'm absolutely sick of getting elbowed and kicked by my wife in the middle of the night. Sleep flailer!
Each bed came with a sorta weird pink and blue woobie throw blanket, three pillows, a thin blanket and two sheets. One of our Brit guests loved the woobie and snuggled with it. I kinda think it looks like a stuffed animal with natty matted fur, well past its prime. Even an ugly woobie needs love.
The nightstand featured a lamp, clock radio, telephone, remote control, a "do not disturb" thingy to stuff in the door lock, a pen and a notepad that was thoroughly rumpled from water damage... thankfully the phone book advertised a firm that specializes in flood damage. Beyond that, we - and the Gideons - suggest prayer.
