		<description><![CDATA[<p>Whether it was a big fight weekend or the week leading up to Christmas, if either Wynn or Encore had a Tower Suite available, you could expect it to cost a modest $90 more per night over their standard offerings. And that, dare I say, was a good value for the benefits of which I’ve exhausted numerous times.</p>

<p>But last month, I noticed a huge disparity in the cost of these rooms over regular accommodations. Sure, they were now offering extra freebies like in-room breakfast at Encore or Tower Suite Café and high tea freebies at Wynn. 		<description><![CDATA[<p>Calling all metal heads!  This year is shaping up to be a great one for live music... one of our early picks for tour of the year - a mind bending triple bill featuring alternating headliners <a href="http://www.mastodonrocks.com">Mastodon</a> and <a href="http://www.opeth.com">Opeth</a> plus support by Swedish Satan rockers <a href="http://ghost-official.com/">Ghost</a> - have finally announced their long rumored tour.</p>

<p>The 30 date "Heritage Hunter Tour" includes a stop at the House of Blues (<a href="/lasvegas/mandalaybay">Mandalay Bay</a>) on April 25th.   In addition, they have made note that for this show, Mastodon will be the headliner.</p>

		<title>LUXOR: Hotel Guest Dies of Legionnaires</title>

		<description><![CDATA[<p>The Southern Nevada Health District announced today that a recent guest of Luxor (owned by MGM Resorts International) has died after contracting Legionnaires disease.</p>

<p>This is the second reported outbreak of Legionnaires disease in Las Vegas in the last 12 months, and the third reported case at Luxor.  Two previous - unreported - outbreaks of Legionnaires took place during guest stays in March 2011 and April 2011.</p>

<p>In response to these two cases, the SNHD headed over to Luxor to do testing and procure swabs and samples for analysis by an independent laboratory.
