Real Deal on the ARIA
ARIA, the hotel/casino centerpiece of CityCenter, is scheduled to open December 16th 2009 and we will be there to cover the grand opening live. ARIA consists of one large hotel tower with three swooping curvaceous wings shooting out in many directions. The circular shaped casino will be ringed by a second, promenade level and be flooded with natural light.
Shopping, resort amenities, supermarkets, office buildings, boutique hotels, condominiums as well as a massive resort casino are planned for the property. Massive oasis-like pools are planned to surround the condo towers as well as every possible "City" amenity you could imagine. Throw everything you might want in a city under one roof, then tear the roof off.
Are the vibes lucky at ARIA?
ARIA's casino is split into two main areas, the circular shaped casino floor and the semi-private baccarat and asian gaming salons nestled in the far corner near the Sky Suites elevator entrances. In addition to the "Casino Level" ARIA features a Promenade Level where the Buffet, Breeze Cafe, Spa, Viva Elvis theatre, ARIA's top tier restaurants and the entrance to the pool deck. Tons of natural light will fill the casino during the day time and a view of Veer towers and other architectural components of City Center will (should) be visible from the casino as well.
Of course, we'll know much more about this as opening approaches.
What casino games are offered at ARIA?
Blackjack, craps, roulette, three card poker, poker room, video poker, slots, sportsbook and much much more.
Does ARIA have casino comps?
ARIA's casino will be connected to MGM Mirage Players Club comp system, which works at all MGM Mirage properties.

A gorgeous modern interpretation of the casino resort. If you can't have fun here, you need to see a therapist.

An incredible amount of technology and a most Un-Vegasy presence warms the heart of this cynic. At least for the moment, CityCenter succeeds in peeling away all the old stereotypes of Vegas that have become so tiring and wrapping you up in a bubble of metropolitan vibes. Who could forget the sculptures or the pocket park?.

I had my doubts, but in the end, I ended up falling in love with this unique place. What I thought would be a dull and pretentious resort ended being whimsical and creative. Although it claims to be themeless, I totally dig what I call EPCOT Center chic!

Haven't been yet, but looking forward to it in June.

After a VERY bumpy first stay, looking forward to a re-evaluation with some time under her belt. Great location in the middle of everything yet just distant enough to be a pain to get to. Made up for with awesome (when assembled properly) and technologically advanced rooms.

You have to ask yourself, what took them so long?
