Great joint if you don't mind spending a little loot. Buffet is a must. Def a place to take a Vegas Virgin to impress! Great spa and fitness area. Best location on the strip. In my opinion...Second only to the Wynn. Only knock is the impersonal/rude dealers. Players Club (MGM) sucks.

If you can strut your stuff in here without feeling intimidated or somewhat empty in the wallet, then you've probably "made it" already. One of the largest resorts of the upper tier, Bellagio is more Lexus than Rolls-Royce as exclusivity goes. However, it commands a significant presence for pushing the Strip resorts into what was unexplored territory, and today is the cumulative apex of the themed resort era hotels. The casino, however, seems excessively prone to avoid creating any happy winners.

Recently spent three nights at the Bellagio. It is a nice resort, and most likely was the best that Vegas had to offer at one point, but not anymore. I find it a little overrated. The rooms are outdated and need remodelling. I stayed at Treasure Island last year and the rooms are almost identical, except that the Bellagio's bathroom is bigger and TI had an LCD TV (where Bellagio still has the old box TV). If they rate the Bellagio a 5-star I would have to say the Venetian is a 6-star and Wynn is a 7-star. The one thing that can't be beat about the Bellagio is the view from the Lakeview rooms. Awesome view!

It’s hard to believe that the Dune once stood where the Bellagio’s famous fountains and “Lake Como” reside. I just recently stayed here for my 40th birthday and had a fantastic suite with an awesome view of both the strip and the fountains. The room had some wear (a good sized stain where someone had spilled a drink down the wall behind the desk) but the service was top notch. While I enjoy the rooms at the Wynn more, I have always been more comfortable (and profitable) at the Bellagio’s Casino.

I recently got a room on the 28th floor, north wing facing the fountains. I've got to say, it was an amazing experience. The first night we were there, we ordered room service and watched the fountains do their whimsical dance. We had a wonderful bellhop who was from Peru who helped us get acquainted with the hotel and the surrounding area. Ultimately this was a great hotel to become familiar with Las Vegas.

I'm pretty much a low roller and I love the casino at Bellagio. It's a good place to play blackjack, but the sports book is the best thing about the casino. Big comfy leather chairs, and the bar waitresses come by frequently and can actually give you a decent free beer (Sam Adams, Sierra Nevada). Okay, "free" is a word one should never use when talking about Vegas, but you know what I mean.As for "walkers," you couldn't be more wrong. They want the walkers to come in alright, and they want them to walk by the all of the swanky shops between the entrance and the casino! And while my buddies and I might bring the cachet down a notch when we stumble in off the strip from our cheapo flop at the IP, they're still making money off of us, even if we only do $10 blackjack, make small change wagers in the sports book, and drink mass quantities of their beer.

Fontana Bar was the coolest place to watch the dancing fountains. Probably, because I didn't have a lake view room. Although up-top the faux Effiel Tower was a cool viewing spot for the fountains.

No matter how expensive or great a new hotel is, the Bellagio will be the best hotel in Vegas. Its even better than the Wynn (well in my opinion). Love eating at Polio and Olives. They have the best show, "O". Words can't express how great the Bellagio is. If you stay at the Bellagio it will be the best Las Vegas experience you have had yet!

The Bellagio is hands down the best place I have stayed in Las Vegas. The buffett is second to none. The O show is unbelievable. It is one of the classiest joints on the strip.

When I built Bellagio in 1998 it was the state of the art in upscale luxury resorts. The gorgeous decor to the expansive and plush rooms put a brand new face on the Las Vegas experience and once again set the standard for a casino resort.

I don't stay here too often anymore now that Wynn Las Vegas is open but I still love a lot about this place. The fountains are incredible. The casino design is good and service is still tops.

Truly one of the most beautiful hotels on the planet. Two words The Conservatory.

My favorite casino floor to merely walk through. Not too loud and incredibly comfortable. Probably the most attractive sports book. A friend of mine walked by the $1,000 minimum blackjack table and some guy waved him over to bet a $6,000 hand.

Classy, clean, enjoyable. Always fun to visit. Olives is great, "O" is beautiful, Palio has the best capuccino in Vegas, overall a great hotel. Gambling is good, you get a lot of pulls or throws for your bucks here. Rooms are comfortable, large, and quiet - and quiet can be something of an issue in Vegas hotel rooms. The fountains, of course, are a big draw - no matter how many times you've seen them you'll still watch them again.

Few places in the US have such a high "dollars per square inch" rating. They sometimes look down at me as though I'm not fit to step into their hotel, but then again, I'm inclined to agree with them.

Bellagio is very elegant. The casino is comfortable and fun to play at. The building and grounds are beautiful. I haven't stayed there but a walk around the hotel and around the pool area makes you feel as if you have traveled to a beautiful, tranquil villa in Italy. The murano glass chandelier in the entrance is a marvel to view and not to be missed. The fountains at night, set to music are quite moving and fun to watch.

Our stay was top notched from check in to check out. Although the lines were very long we did not mind, what's the rush your on vacation. The check in receptionist gave us a complimenary bottle of bubbly for our anniversay. Stayed in the Salone Suite, with turn down service and chocolates on the pillows. The casino bar made the best Lemon Drop martini that I have had in Vegas. Not every bartenders knows how to make one and just putting Lemon flavored Vodka is not all it takes. Won in the casino:-)

this place is top notch, but it seems like they know the inner secrets of your bank account and treat you as such...for those of us to whom Bellagio is "splurging" , they treat us nice, but it is a "yes, we know you dont belong but you are paying us to treat you like you do" kind of nice, THAT BEING SAID, Prime and Olives are two of my favorite eats in LV, the fountains never cease to amaze me, and if I ever STOP getting goose bumps walikng into Bellagio.......go ahead and bury me cuz I'll be dead.

Although I have never stayed at the Bellagio, I have stopped in, walked around and enjoyed their fabulous breakfast buffet. Worth all the hype. I give them a high rated based on just that.
