Real Deal on the California
Nice downtown gaming vibes. The Cal (like most downtown joints) caters to the Hawaiian/Asian clientele. Be sure to check out the Golden Arm Hall of Fame on the bridge over to Main Street Station. Its a display of plaques given to craps players who rolled the dice for an hour or more. Very cool.
Are the vibes lucky at California?
A short (2 minute) walk from the Fremont hubub but the low minimum tables are worth the saunter... a little exercise won't hurt you anyways. There aren't many tables, but since its a little off the beaten track, you should find a spot at a $5 table easily.
What casino games are offered at California?
1100 slot machines from nickel to $5 as well as Megabucks and progressives. $2 blackjack, craps and roulette tables, PaiGow, Carribean Stud , Keno and Sports Book.
Does California have casino comps?
Daily slot tournaments and tons of Hawaiian tourists. (?)

Joined at the hip with MSS. Consider them one off-Fremont downtown entity. MSS has the buffet, but the Cal's quaint little coffee shop still has a prime rib special so cheap that it's scary. No, really, I don't buy it out of fear that it's no good.
