Encore Suites at Wynn Las Vegas - The Real Deal :
The casino at Wynn Encore is modeled after the casino at Wynn Macau. For more about the design, layout and vibes, read Chuck's blog post about Wynn Macau's Casino layout.
Encore's casino will be separated from the pool area by a large glass wall, allowing natural light to flood into the casino. This is somewhat similar to the large glass wall in the lobby at Wynn Macau which overlooks its pool.

The Rooms at Encore Suites at Wynn Las Vegas
The Encore Suites at Wynn Las Vegas features 2034 suites spanning in size from 700 square feet (larger than the Panoramic and Tower Suite rooms at Wynn Las Vegas) all the way up to two-floor luxury VIP suites with 5,800 square feet of space. The rooms feature sitting areas separated by 1/2 walls and flat panel TV's that swivel to face bedroom or living area. The quality of the furnishings and layout are state of the art and gorgeous. A second spa is located inside of Encore directly above the casino level. Access to the Encore pool is through the swimwear shop on the left. As for the Spa... it's truly one of the most beautiful spas we've ever seen... men's and women's areas, with soaking pools, jacuzzis, saunas, treatment rooms that adjust color and music, stone lined carpeted hallways with ancient looking Asian lamps and huge golden Buddahs. It truly is a shrine to amazing. Wow...

By far the best hotel in Las Vegas. The place is beautiful and the service is professional and first class. The only place the stay if you go to Las Vegas.
Just got back, comp'd for 3 nights. First the good: the place is beautiful, and the rooms were well appointed.Now the bad. Very disappointed in the casino. The place was empty, no joke. 10pm and there were more stickmen and dealers on the casino floor than players. OG Wynn was a little better, but not much.Now, I arrive and deposit a fair chunk of change in the cage before I even check-in. Just about any other place and I'd have a host following me around for my whole stay. Not a peep here. Weird considering the invited guest comp'd room dealWe settle in and head downstairs. Sit down at the high limit bar to get the ball rolling. Pump in a few hundreds and order a bottle of water and a Stoli Red Bull. Barkeep returns and says "that will be 24.50". "Huh? We're playing here bro. What's the deal?" To which he replies "No comps at any of the bars in the resort. That is the policy". Cash out. Head across the street. Didn't spend another penny in there for the rest of the stay out of principle. If you want action, you gotta give action. VP players stay away

(Visits Nov 2009; March 2010, therefore pre-EBC - I have some trepidation about visiting again). Excellent, pure class. Small wait at registration (Fri, 2pm - though lines were longer later in the day), superb attention and service throughout, a really great suite. The casino's about the nicest place to lose your money now it has been opened up. My only gripe: paying for drinks whilst shovelling hundreds into VP at the bar. Cafe Society is great for lunch; Sinatra a memorable experience and meal.

What else is there to say after you acknowledge the fact that this is a step up from the Wynn which was the best hotel in Vegas...make that the US. You just can't get more plush and first class than Encore. Bravo once again Mr. Wynn.

Amazing hotel in a less than perfect location, but no problem if you plan to stay on property. Casino is light and airy, private yet open, and the right mix of high roller meets working joe. Check out the casino by the pool on a hot day for some outdoor fun, and enjoy the music and fake boobs floating by. Rooms are amazingly designed with well thought out touches and the best bed you'll ever sleep on. Bump up to the Tower Suites and feel like you're right at home with better perks and less work.

OMIGD. Who thought it could get better than Wynn. Well, this is amazing, beautiful, the best of the best design, suites.The only thing is I'm not sure of the restaurants. Switch was silly, and I don't remember what I ate.Sinatra was very good, but the atmosphere was too reserved, and very expensive. (SW steakhouse looks inexpensive next to this).Saw Danny Gans again a year ago and he was terrible. The most current thing he did was George Burns. My 20 something kids wanted to walk out. Steve should watch him again, he's dated and seems his voice sounds worn out.I know The Reve has been redone, but seeing it 4 years ago, I didn't like it, and we've seen all the circ's but Ka and love all. I think Wynn is still in search of their entertainment.

THE finest , classiest place in Vegas...period. I got my room after a promo code and my unused resort credit was applied for $264 June6-8! I will stay here every chance I get!!!but will place elsewhere, casino was boring, (but not meant for a low roller like me) and we laugh at anyone who will stand outside in of ANY club (XS) on a Sunday at 2 am, and still try to take themselves seriously. First class all the way!!

What has to be said for the Wynn's sexy little sister? It's shimmers, it shines, it finds a way to artfully blend the smooth youth of a Grey Goose and the aged elegance of a forty-five year old scotch to create what many consider one of Steve Wynn's greatest properties. Is it really the best in the city? On it's own, no. But its sumptuous room offerings, gastronomic delights, and all too popular nightclub working in conjunction with the established offerings at WLV create a super-property that even Aria/City Center will have an incredibly difficult time trying to unseat as the new standard for Las Vegas luxury. To answer that first question, by the way, apparently a lot.

I stayed here when I was in the process of buying my condo in town (where I now reside). If I were still living in Orange County, I'd DEFINITELY stay here when visiting! The standard suites are quite spacious at over 700 sq. ft., and they are certainly decorated tastefully and stocked with amazing luxuries like a flat-screen TV in the bathroom and a great lounge sofa in the living room.
And if the accomodations aren't exciting enough, try the food! Sinatra serves classic Italian dishes done perfectly, while Society Cafe is a "gourmet diner" doing luxurious comfort food. Also try Daniel Boulud and Stratta next door at Wynn. Nightlife sizzles here with XS, Blush, and Tryst... And don't you dare miss the fabulous show at Le Reve! For a few extra bucks, the VIP Indulgence package with champagne service during the show is definitely worth it! ;-)

My fiance' and I stayed in a Resort room at Encore at Wynn Las Vegas the week of January 20th, 2009, just a month after the resort opened. The room was by far one of the best appointed "standard" rooms in all of Vegas, and with the rest of Encore sparkling new, it created the ultimate Vegas experiance. Prices at most of the bars and restaurants were equivelent to those at Bellagio and other resorts. Our room was 6310, which was located on the top floor next door to the sky casino. Our view had to be the best one in Vegas, the hotel tower was placed for the most ultimate of views.. so we were able to have a nice "framed" view of the strip; with Wynn and Palazzo to our left, and Bellagio, Casears, Mirage and Treasure Island to the right. We had beautiful sunrises and sunsets everyday. The room was always cleaned to perfection each day, although there were a few times we would come back at 5 or 6pm and our room would still be untouched. For all of you who discuss the "blue tape" all over Palazzo at it's opening (and several months thereafter), there were parts of our room that looked unfinished. The bathroom door looked like it was originally white (I don't know if this was a concept room during construction or what) and you could see where the painters had missed a large spot on the back of the door as there was a huge white streak at the bottom, the closet had some boxed lamps at the bottom that had yet to be opened and the soundproofing between the sky casino and our room was a bit lacking at times... but for a hotel that was only a month old, it was perfection in everyway.
During the trip we had friends that were staying in a resort room in Wynn and it was such a contrast to be in their room compared with our room at Encore. I think they felt the same way when they came over to Encore and saw our room. I would recommend Encore at Wynn Las Vegas to anyone wanting to stay in one of the greatest resorts in the world.
We will miss the original Encore casino floor design over the post-Beach Club/Surrender arrangement. We used the former atrium entrance everytime we ventured out of Encore onto the strip and it will be missed... but we are happy that we had the chance to stay at Encore Version 1.0 just a month after opening. 11 out of 10 stars.

I was shocked when I walked into the room...OMG....black sheer curtains. I immediately got a funeral home vibe. Brown and ivory striped curtains, black sofa, everything is black, white, cream and brown. Gold and beige laminate walls with black trim around the ceiling, I felt like I was sleeping under a cheap formica table. The only color was a red behind the headboard of the bed. The bed IS very comfy which makes up for the gawd awful room decor. In the bathroom were black and white drawings that looked they were painted on a chalkboard of a nude woman with a big bottom. If I wanted to see that, I'd look in the mirror. On the plus side, the room's flat screen TV swivels so you can see it in the sofa area or from the bed. The bathroom has a TV and is large and has great amenities. The casino is boring, spotty drink service. Expectations for this place were much higher.

A bit directionless upon opening, Encore is slowly being retooled for Steve Wynn's new focus on nightlife. Lots of bars, booze, and now multiple pools for you to get your social freak on. That's nice, but the catch is that I just don't like nightlife. While you're clubbin', I'm 30 floors up trying to sleep over the UNTS UNTS UNTS sound of your party.

Formerly a boxcar, downgraded to half a hard eight, thanks to the choking influx of d-bags here for XS and Surrender, not to mention Encore Beach Club. This place had a very brief run as the creme de la creme, before The Steve decided to alienate his elderly (read: over 30) customers and cater directly to the young and heavily leveraged.
