M Resort - The Real Deal :
The M Resort... one of the most luxurious, loveliest, gorgeous and fun resorts NOT located on the Las Vegas Strip. The M is so nice, we don't consider it to be one of the Locals joints, but instead a fabulous oasis hideaway where rest and relaxation mingle effortlessly with energy and excitement. A flowery statement indeed, but one true to our hearts... the M Resort is one of our favorite destinations.
M Resort History
M Resort, brain child of Anthony Marnell III (of the family who built Wynn Las Vegas, Bellagio and Rio) cost $1B to build and was opened on March 1, 2009. M Resort's modern architecture, gorgeous decor and dedication to the highest levels of service and resort offerings made it an instant hit amongst tourists and locals alike. Despite doing brisk business in high end play, the M ran headfirst into a faltering economy and was taken over by Penn National Gaming in a $350M debt swap. Even though he lost his ownership stake in M, Anthony Marnell III remains the President of M Resort and oversees all of its day to day operations.
Location of M Resort:
M Resort is located at the beginning of Las Vegas Boulevard, about 10 miles or so south of "The Strip" proper right at the base of the mountain pass that leads to Primm, NV and the California state line. M Resort is be the first property Californians driving into Las Vegas will see about 15 minutes after blasting past Jean, Nevada at the St. Rose Highway exit.
Cool Stuff About M Resort:
There is a shuttle from M Resort to Fashion Square Mall and the Airport.

Beautiful hotel way out in the boonies. Great design, food, and feel. Learned Baccarat here from a very cool dealer and then lost my winnings from it on Blackjack. Check out the design, and if you have time dine at Veloce for a wonderful view of the strip and valley.

Beautiful building, fantastic service, friendly staff, great rooms, excellent food. Now if only it weren't a 20 minute drive from the Strip. Love M.

Without a doubt, this is the best place to go in Henderson! If you don't mind staying off Strip, do come here! The rooms are quite luxurious and spacious with at least 550 sq. ft to offer. The bathrooms have full soaking tubs and flat-screen TVs, while the main rooms have comfy beds, big flat-screen TVs, and nice sitting areas. Oh, and they also have killer views of The Strip and the mountains! Don't hesitate to eat here. Marinelli's does classic Italian right, while Red Cup Cafe serves quality food 24 hours a day. Even the buffet is pretty good here. The M really has set a new standard for luxury in Henderson, and now I really appreciate it as a Green Valley local! ;-)

This is the place I always make a point to stop at now on my way to Vegas from Cali. Love the atmosphere, the dim lighting, and just the fact that they made this place with quality materials, something you don't see too often in Las Vegas anymore. The design is great and the restaurants are awesome! I highly recommend the Studio B Buffet.

This is my favorite hotel hands down! My first time there I was going to vegas for a wedding and the bride was staying there. I wasnt too sure about being off the strip but as I came to find out it was not a big deal to get to the strip and then when you are at the hotel you are away from the chaos of the strip hotels. The staff were the nicest people ever from the front desk to employees on the casino floor the restaurants and even housekeeping! It was wonderful and the prices are great in my opionion our room was better then when we stayed at the Venetian and it was half the cost. They have all the newest slot machines and even better yet most are penny slots! Because its not as busy as the strip all the ones I wanted to play were open. I loved everything about this hotel even the parking is easy. I didnt even get to play that much on that trip in the casino however I played enough to get coupons in the mail which Im told they send every month for free slot play free t-shirts a percentage off your next stay etc. That is more than any other hotel has offered me in the numerous time we have been there. I will be staying here everytime I go to vegas from now on. P.S. we arrived at 830a and the night before was sold out and they let us check in when we got there was so glad we didnt have to wait all day for our room to be ready!

My friends love the place. I like the casino! Sign up for the slot card and they'll bombard you with all sorts of free gifts, including wine, rum, t shirts and sun shades. You'll also get free room comps and free buffet coupons, but the line for the buffet is always long. When I want to eat, I don't want to wait in line for two hours, regardless of how good or how free it is. When I stand in line, the casino loses money.

When we were driving in to Vegas for the weekend, I noticed the M resort and thought it looked pretty awesome, after a great four days in Vegas for Memorial day weekend it was time to leave. Lo and behold we had about 8 hours of traffic to look forward to. At Primm, me and my ex decided to turn around and go back to Vegas and just stay another night and return to Ca the next day, refreshed with no traffic. So on our drive back to vegas I mentioned the M resort to my ex, called them up for room rates and decided to stay there. It was AMAZING!! Rooms were clean and well designed. Staff was very nice and courteous. Pool looked great! I'll definitely be staying here again!!!

As Swankuluxe as ARIA and at such amazing prices.... fantastically friendly staff, excellent aesthetics, great cocktails for only $5. This place won me over quickly. They could do with some better shoe-dealt blackjack games though, but other than that, this place is amazing.

M Resort would probably be my favorite hotel if it were on the strip. They have a fantastic buffet and reasonable minimums on all table games. Also, they have a bar with a ton of microbrews on tap that they will comp for your video poker play. Can't go wrong here.

We visited on July 15, 2009. Loved the casino, drink service was very good. Due to time we only had time to eat at the deli. The value, service and quality of the food was excellent. We did not end our gambling on the plus side, but would definately travel off strip to visit this hotel again.

Worth every bit of the slight hassle it is to get there! The dining is great. The gambling choices are good. The employees are friendly. The pool and spa are fantastic with such affordable options that you may find yourself leaving your cabana to go get a massage before returning to your cabana to wind down from your exhausting day (< speaking from experience). Stay at M for a couple of days on your next trip. It's like a little vacation while you're on vacation.
