Everytime I go to the MGM drunk which is at least twice a year, I ALWAYS GET LOST, and whats worse is I LOVE IT! Something about walking around there not knowing where I'm going just makes me feel good. Also get free drinks there without gambling. Cocktail waitresses always have too many drinks and sections SO BIG takes an hour for her to return, works out for me, just look for the LOST COCKTAIL WAITRESS!! I also love the LION out front.

Love, love, love the casino at the MGM! Drink service is quick and friendly. Treat those girls right and they'll take excellent care of you. Cage personnel were pleasant and quick with a joke. Although Cirque isn't really my thing, I enjoyed Ka during my trip way back in good old 2005. The only complaint I have would be that the folks at the MGM have mastered the labyrinthine casino. You'll be dizzy by the time you find your way out! Although with the friendly staff and the luck at the tables, who would want to leave?

This Grand Ol' Dame popped my Vegas cherry. My jaw dropped as soon as I walked into the huge, gorgeous lobby and I have been coming back to Vegas twice a year ever since. Anxious to see the renovated rooms. Nice selection of restaurants. Emeril's New Orleans Fish House has never disappointed us. The deli near the sports book is a hidden gem. The casino is massive and offers something for everyone, including an old 25-cent mechanical horse race ... Classic!

MGM grows on me more as I stay at other resorts, there is just something being done right here and I can't put my finger on it, it's a huge mass of restaurants, casino floor, and entertainment, but somehow it all works.

The restaurant offerings are top notch and the casino floor is big enough for you to find an isolated spot if you want even as the clubs are fueling up and the floor has 10k people on it.

In many ways MGM is the Vegas that everyone markets, but like the Wizard of Oz once you stay here, it's easy to see behind the curtain and see that the marketing hype is just that, which lets you enjoy the place for what it is, and escape from the normal.

Stayed at the Signature at MGM for our honeymoon. It was the perfect romantic location and the room is still our favorite- ever. It was just far enough away to feel secluded but close enough to feel part of the MGM action. MGM is host to many of our favorite restaurants and our favorite show- KA.

I prepared myself for a long wait at check-in, but was lucky enough to be only 15minutes and this was at 3pm. Stayed in the Celebrity Spa room, which we got for a steal. We had no problems with noise (thank goodness). The walk from the elevator was a trek, but not enough to get too pissed at. Room was clean and housekeeping always kept things nice. The ONLY problem was the stupid shower head. The water pressure was ridiculous, especially if you have princess and the pea skin, which I do. So I couldn't take long showers. The large jacuzzi made up for it :-)

Just stayed here to take advantage of a comp and I was curious to see what the rooms looked like. All I really did was drop the kids off, but the bed felt real comfortable and it didn't squeek when I jumped on the bed. This joint is huge but for a place soo big the casino seemed small. The pool is way the hell out in the back of the property. The green exterior light shines into the room at night.

This place really is grand... And sometimes it's great, while other times it's not. The Signature suites are AWESOME... But the standard rooms? Not so much. L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon: AWESOME! Grand Wok and Sushi Bar? FAIL. Casino? Depends on which part you're gambling in.There's plenty of variety here. You'll probably find something you'll like at MGM Grand. I have. We just have to explore and learn.

The MGM has some of the most helpful and pleasant staff members I've dealt with in Las Vegas..from checkout to storing bags, you get a smile and a "have a good trip home"..
Rooms are well appointed and very clean..casino is huge..I've not won more than a few dollars here..but there is decent video poker if you have the time to look for it..

First ever trip to Vegas stayed here. Had a Bungelow room suite and it was the best. Loved how big the casino, hotel, was.... and their sports book is great. Perfect location on the South of the strip, and what else is better then the sigma derby horse racing game. I've lost a fair share amount of quarter's there. 2-5 2-5 !

MGM Grand deserves the 5 dice for great food, a massive casino, great restaurants (regardless of where you stay, don't miss Craftsteak, aka Earth's Greatest Steakhouse), a great pool area (including Wet Republic, the original and best pool club) and okay rooms. But if you're willing/able to shell out for a Skyloft, take the express right up to 6 dice and beyond, cause the Skylofts are the most awesome rooms you will ever stay in (two words: POOL TABLE). I can't fathom paying up for a Wynn Salon Suite, which I'm sure is lovely but at the end of the day is just a big room in a fancy hotel, when you could do a Skyloft instead and get the multi-story area and the multiple sitting rooms and the amazing everything.

a little bit on the older side now. like if a beauty queen went from miss america to becoming a spokemodel at a textiles convention in peoria. rooms are showing their wear and tear. ridiculously long hallways. if money is no object get the skyloft. it's worth it. terrace suites aren't bad either, especially having an 800 sq ft balcony with a hot tub overlooking the strip. but when one is paying $1000 a night, one assumes that it would have updated elctronics. jus sayin'.

It's a big green monster, but I love the art deco statues and other touches inside. Too bad it's taken a turn for the trendy in recent years, plopping a new sports book and waiters-dance-on-the-tables club in the middle of what used to be a tastefully-decorated gambling hall. Still, the newer East Wing suites are decked out in a retro 60s modern style that I warmed to after a while. If only they weren't a nautical mile from any entrance or exit.

The MGM Grand has, literally, something for everybody. Take some of the best restaurants in Vegas, the best value table gaming conditions (liberal rules S17 at less than $25!), friendly pit crew, surprisingly fast drink waitresses, and shake it all up. Emerils, L'atelier de Joel Robouchon and Craftsteak are all very damn good. Crazy Horse is a very talented, artistic burlesque too. The place is massive and crowded and the renovation was sorely needed, but the property offers a hell of a lot of fun.

A fun place to party. MGM's Lazy River Pool is the best free pool party in Las Vegas; I've seen many hilarious bachelor / bachelorette parties here. KA is a good show. The stage is amazing and the performers are incredible athletes. CSI Experience is fun. MGM Grand has some of the best restaurants in Las Vegas. Joel Robuchon is the best of the best. Guest rooms are undergoing renovation this year, and all rooms should look new in 2012.

Have stayed here more times than any other place on the strip. Their combination of affordable rates amenities and property makes it one of the best values on the strip. Yes, it is huge. Yes, there are a lot of people there. But you would be hard pressed to find a resort on the strip where you can get more bang for your buck. Plus, the revamped MLife player card seems to be a big improvement over their previous system.

It's just too bad I don't like the rest of the place...mediocre shopping, the endless walks to get from here to there inside the place, a casino filled with newbies & tourists, etc...who knows, maybe after they're done with the current renovations I'll like it more, but I think the things I don't like about MGM are endemic to a place of its size, and probably won't be changed by new casino carpet...I'll always visit it for a meal when I'm in town, but I doubt I'll ever stay there...well, unless someday I'm up to the level of getting comped a stay in the Mansion, then maybe...

I used to stay there when they had the kid's club. but they went so upscale and yet they have many gangs around. It's a pity. They have great food, an odd Cirque shows, and they have OK rooms. It's nothing special, but I've stayed there almost every time.
