Red Rock - The Real Deal :
Red Rock is a very pretty property and one of the few locals targeted joints that we would consider spending the night at. The problem is that there there is squat to do out there other than goof around the video poker centric casino, bake by the pool or go to a movie. If you're looking for a resort getaway, that has a casino but none of the bustle Red Rock is a good option.
Location of Red Rock:
Red Rock is located way out on the far west end of the Las Vegas valley. You are NOT in walking distance of anything out there other than strip malls and other local businesses. The Red Rock park is a short drive away.

Red Rock History
After much fanfare and opposition from locals, Red Rock Resort opened on April 19th, 2006. The hype says it's as good as anything you'll see on the Strip. With construction costs topping off at $925 Million Dollars, one can only visit and see for yourself.
The Rooms at Red Rock
Nice rooms, we'd never stay here though... too far from the action and the $25/day resort fee is a major buzz kill. The rooms look nice though.
Restaurants at Red Rock
