Readers Who Added Stardust (Echelon Place) to their MyVegas Favorites

I've been staying here since my first trip to Las Vegas in 1999. Luckily, on that first trip I managed to win at least $100 a day playing the slots there.. There will always be a special place in my heart for the Stardust, and I really wish they wouldn't blow this joint up.. My last stay there was the weekend of Oct. 21st, 2006. I had to take advantage of the last of my Stardust comps. At least I got $65 cash back from all of my slot points!

I stayed here in August of 2006 - my first Vegas trip. The atmosphere and history were incredible - and who can forget that sign lighting up the night sky? Casino was decent sized but didn't have great luck in it. It was great to walk around in it, though, knowing that a few months later it would be dust. They upgraded me to a Strip view when I told them it was my first trip, but since I was only on the third floor all I could see was the Wynn, the pool and part of the Frontier. Furnishings in the place were dated; they obviously decided not to put any money into it once they decided to implode it. Rooms were clean, though. Overall, it may not have been the best joint but in it's day it was awesome. Since it was my first, I'll always love this one!
