The Linq Hotel and Casino - The Real Deal :

Once home to the mighty and wonderful Imperial Palace and for a split second called The Quad, The Linq Hotel is the personification of owner Caesars Entertainment's vision for cheapo modernism. The exterior's brushed aluminum aluminum siding beckons Gehry, but lacks the 'how-did-they-do-that' awesomeness. Inside, the space feels highly transient, more like a shopping mall than a destination. The casino, now devoid of imperial appointments feels green and funless, with one exception - the down and dirty beer hall recreation of O'Sheas 2.0.

Location of The Linq Hotel and Casino:

The Linq Hotel has prime locations on The Strip - nestled right in the middle of the action between Harrah's Las Vegas and The Flamingo, with the Linq entertainment promenade and High Roller observation out back. Where else can you stay on The Strip at competitive prices and have access to high roller goodies a few steps away?

Cool Stuff About The Linq Hotel and Casino:

The Linq shopping promenade is located in a former alley way between the Linq Hotel and the Flamingo. It features tons of shopping, dining and drinking options are steps away. Brooklyn Bowl features live music (not DJ's) from local and national touring acts in a fun comfortable atmosphere.

The Linq Hotel and Casino History

The Linq Hotel was originally called the Flamingo Capri, and considered part of the Flamingo Hotel next door. It was spun off and became the Holiday Casino in the early 60's and eventually the Imperial Palace after a major renovation in the 1970's. Harrah's bought the Imperial Palace in August 2005 and let it limp along until 2012, when the property was renamed The Quad and was partially renovated. A full renovation of The Quad came sixteen months later along with a name change to The Linq Hotel.

The Rooms at The Linq Hotel and Casino

The Linq Hotel completely renovated their hotel tower offerings in 2014, the new rooms are clean, modern and inexpensive. Still one of the best buys on The Strip... reviews are forthcoming.

Restaurants at The Linq Hotel and Casino

Everything is in Flux at The Quad. Stay tuned.

The Linq Hotel and Casino Tips

The parking garage out back can be a bit of a nightmare to navigate, and it turns into a raging river suitable for white water rafting whenever it rains in Las Vegas.
