Cut my gambling teeth flipping baseball cards, playing Contract Rummy and Poker with my parents then to the big league gambling at Ballys, Resorts and the Golden Nugget Atlantic City, Yonkers Raceway (trottahs!). Headed out west in the early 1990s and hit Vegas for the first time on the drive through. Hit the 4.99$ twin lobster tails at the Sands, blackjack at Desert Inn, Dunes, Mirage and a shit load of craps at Casino Royale. LV Hilton, IP, Flamingo, Binions, Golden Nugget, Mandalay Bay... still haven't hit them all, but will... because I LOVE LAS VEGAS. Give the Chuckmonster a shout out!

Lamb of God is the absolute shit. They're one of those bands you can see live over and over and never get tired of them. 5 days till Vegas...being drunk for a week is the absolute best thing ever.

i think i leave the day you get to vegas. anyways, been reading your guys site for at least three years now. maybe longer (i can't remember) i have major vegas withdrawl right now.... I recall voting for the trippies the last 3 years. I also seem to run into the rodeo folk everytime I go to vegas in October.

I hope someday to rule Vegas. As for right now I will settle for the title of Prince of O'Sheas or the Duke of Casino Royale. I think that it is actually my heart stopping..... SSSSPPPPPYYYYYDDDDDEEEERRRR THUD-TH-THUD.......THUD..... I am more of a bathe in Miller Lite or black russians kinda dude and last Monday night i fell into the tub and drank my way out as did my boy Spyder except his tub was full of Jack Daniels. Awesome strip crawl from IP to Mesa Grill to Mirage to TI to Venetian to Casino Royale to Flamingo to O'sheas till 7am. Note to self, I'm not 21 anymore!

If you are a medium roller and want to stay on the Strip - the Flamingo really cannot be beat. Tons of new restaurants, perfect location, bigger rooms than Harrah's, the Go Rooms and all that mob mystique. Too bad the slots are tighter than a strippers g-string.

Need a place to stay overnight? Try the craps tables at O'Shea's! There's no hotel, but who the fuck cares. Not so hot on the way O'Shea's has changed since Harrah's took over. Seems to have lost a lot of its charm. Slowly falling off my list of favorites.

Stinky, musty, funky. Mostly good qualities in my book, but the key to the IP is the value. Great prices on huge yet kinda trashy rooms. Luv Tub = Awesome

My Review of Golden Gate
Golden Gate is an incredibly intimate, unbelievably charming and downright friendly joint to hang out in. I haven't sampled the rooms yet, but the staff - dealers, cage, security, diner and snack bar - are awesome. Golden Gate is a breath of fresh, yet 100 year old, air in the age of monolithic casino hugeness.

Ballys has decent rooms for a decent price. it's lack of theme is a big draw. if i see another shopping mall done up to look like a bazaar from a foreign city, there's a good chance i might slit my wrists.
