Vegas has always been the place where Big Kids go to be Bad ! The same vibe that drew the Rat Pack still hums in every shuffel. Over the years, Vegas has grown into a draw for world class service, food, and entertainment but thats just an excuse to bask in the neon, enjoy that free drink, and take a chance. The rooms are nice ... but it know what its all about you MUST stay in a suite. I’m not trying to be a snob here, but from the private check in surrounded by bits of Steve Wynn’s art collection to the private suite hold pools – it’s the only way to roll. Eat at Alex and be amazed by the food without being overwhelmed, people watch at Parasol Down or play Pro or No in the B Bar after 11 pm. It doesn’t get much better then this.
Awesome ! THE Best place to stay on the Strip if you want to be taken care of. Can't wait to go back
The rooms are very modern and masculine, reminding me of a Studio in New York City. Nice rooms and great room service ... if you?re going to stay at Man-delay Bay, theHotel is the best way to do it.
Man Delay Bay ! There is always a line to check in or out, but they do their best to move as quickly as possible. I haven't stayed in the newly renovated rooms but the place needed an update. The property is great with a fun Casino, good Bar / Nightclubs, and good restaurants. I’ve seen great shows at the HoB (was 10’ from Snoop Dog, holdin my own on the dance floor for his show – ya heard me). I hope to check out the new bar and casino renovations next week.
Good sized rooms with a funky design (step down living room), I stayed here for a week during a Convention and got very comfortable here. It’s not as high end as they would like to be, but it’s a solid B .
A desk clerk has ever told me “I’m sorry Sir, but I don’t think that I can take tips” when I tried the $20 trick. Rooms were cheap and you get what you pay for.
The site of my worst trip to Vegas … I had a first floor room in the tower and try to arrange for a wake up call – only to find that the phone in the room doesn’t work. I walk to the front desk and they tell me that are aware of the issue but there isn’t anything they can do. They also say that they can not arrange for a wakeup call for me, because of the phone problem. An hour later this high pitched wine starts screeching in my room. After 20 mins of searching and unplugging everything I can find, I figure out that it’s coming from outside my window, where a large tour bus is parked idling outside my window. I pick up the phone to call the front desk, but of course it isn’t working, so I have to get up and go to the front desk. They tell me that they will send someone from Security out to talk to the Bus Driver. And indeed I watch asthe Security guy shows up, bums a smoke off the bus driver, and sits smoking with him for bit before taking off – the bus still running it’s motor and the noise still going. Another trip to the Front Desk, = me in being told that “There isn’t anything that can be done because the bus is taking people to the Grand Cannon at 5 am and if they don’t keep the thing going it won’t be warm for them". Fumming I go back to my room, pack, and wait for my 8 am shift to start. The next day I go to the front desk and speak to the Manager. He was indifferent and kept saying “What do you expect us to do about it ?”. I asked what he was willing to do to make it up to me and his response was “I really don’t see the need to do anything for you since you’re convention staff. Have a nice day.”.I’m just sorry that I can’t give them negative points.
A small fun Casino with good restaurants and outstanding nightclubs - Check out Body English on "School Girl Sunday"; When any lady in a school girl uniform gets free drinks all night long and from the looks of things the shorter the skirt, the stronger the drinks. Rock on Rockers !
