The Vegas trip has turned into a ritual of gaming err gambling, drinking, eating great food and people watching. After 5 days I'm ready to go home and one day after I'm home I can't wait to go back.

ShoutOuts
If I'm goin that'll be a last minute booking (cash and work and all) What is the date yer goin? Bastard, I wanna book, I just can't and it makes me sad on the inside!
only 3 more weeks for you, CRAP!! that means I'm getting married in about 4...... goin to the airport now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
44 days for you, 50 for me.... can't figger out if I'm nervous or excited..... either way, I'm goin to the airport now. I'll remind T to grab the kilts!!!
Something in an absurdly oversized plastic cup is definitely in order.....
It's not football season, a plastic Basketball would work tho
Odd beverage of the March 09 Trip, we are on Freemont so it should be in a yard glass, involve a deep fried twinkie, and some crack, I think that covers it
Tired of work. packed, meet me at airport, gonna wait there.......
After tonight, I wanna go now!! NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW NOW!!!!!!!!!!!
A fellow Canadian goin' ta Vegas the same time as me!! Cool! Having been born and raised in Calgary myself, I will give you a prayer of luck while I am there. ;)
53 days till deep fried twinkies, cheap beer, crack addicts and all the fun of Freemont!!! Can no wait, going to the airport now!!
Sorry, but if I'm not the one running the hotel, you know it's going to get messed up. Look at the Hilton, or Bally's today. I'll call him up and try to convince him to bring back the pirate theme. Terry never listened to me...
33 days yo!!! What is the drink of choice gonna be this time around? Damn Zima I will find you
You do know, that if you eat at the Rosewood Grille before you leave you get to take your picture holding a huge lobster just like the dude in the advertisement is? The kids get little lobsters to hold.
7th of November? You know what that is right?
Hey donny. Yeah it's too bad that we didn't meet up. The Ms and I are heading back in early Dec for the marathon and then again in early Jan for a convention. Hopefully we can work something out someday.
Most definitely. The wife and I are staying @ the Luxor July 23-31.
I'm in Vegas in July too. Maybe we could meet up for a beer (or ten).
Bacon at the Riviera? I saw the picture of the sandwich..it looks pretty heart stopping, but you had to see this Baconator. Just the grease...and cheese...and death. I bet it's great for curing hangovers!!!
I feel the best way to approach the question of what odd beverage we will be "questing" for in 60ish days is a moot point. It's going to be all of the above, I'm sure. But in honour of the RunnyD I think we should at least once ask for something with coconut in it. I'm still gonna keep my eyes open for Zima tho, I need to finish the story of my quest for Chuck, and I think it should somehow end in Vegas, not the Monk.
would it be silly of me to give another shout out to the legendary donnymac? hell no it wouldnt... because donnymac just plain rules vegas.
Hi...I'm Steve Wynn and this is my ShoutOut to you. It's the only one I've ever signed my name to...
I'm going back to school and become a doctor specializing in liver transplants. I'm gonna setup shop outside of Vegas city limits and have booths at the airport.
so ya won the sapranos pool, is that why I don't see you at the bar as much as I use to? congrats fella
didja see, we're international criminals now......or at least card cheats
You forgot one thing, I'm bringing Tina after all...... hee hee
Little known fact: donnymac takes baths in scotch. That's the truth!
you seem to have coined a new fraze on VT "the Vegas-a-holic". Congrats!!
mmmm, complimentary, never ending beer, when do we leave again?

Stayed at Red Rock for three days where the primary activity was golf. There are many great golf courses close to Red Rock. Fantastic room with a view of Red Rock canyon, awesome pool, hot cocktail waitresses and great bartenders at the sports book bar. We ate at Terra Rossa, The Feast Buffet, Grand Cafe and Turf Grill. They were all really good. Red Rock is a completely different Vegas experience, not as lively as the strip but a great overall experience.
Great big giant hotel. Best beds i've slept in. The bartenders at the Le Femme bar keep the cocktails flowing at an alarming rate.
I have always wanted to stay at the Mirage and finally did so In January of 2010. The room was very nice and well decorated but I was not feeling the vibe in the casino. BLT Burger is a great place for a Burger and a Brew and Stack is awesome food but that is about all that is good for dining options. The selection of Rum at Rhumbar is great but the service on the patio was awful. The sports bar is the only casino bar to grab a drink, watch a game and play some bartop video poker and it's always packed. Another good casino bar would be nice. Overall I liked the Mirage but it really doesn't have an exciting vibe anymore, the casino renovation took away the uniqueness that was Mirage and made it just another non-descript casino floor.
Love the $1 Michelobs and cheap gambling! If you play Carribean Stud there say hi to Charles the dealer. Man dude is huge but has the smoothest electric slide and serious game with the ladies!
Stayed in a widescreen room. The room was better than you would expect for the Tragic Kingdom. Really good drink service in the casino. I really like the location and would definitely stay there again.
I love the dankness of the dank!!! The MaiTai bar is a great place to enjoy some video poker and cold brew.
Staying at NYNY was great. If you get a chance to see Phoenix at the Big Apple Bar you are in for a kick-ass classic rock good time!
Getting woke up by the Fremont Street experience every hour on the hour rocks. Who needs an alarm clock? The valet actually washed our filthy Bronco.
