been to vegas once.. and since then, I couldn't get enough.. recently, I've been lucky enough to hit up vegas about twice a year. I enjoy finding any remaining cheap eats in Vegas, and visiting the many nightclubs on and off the strip. Been thinking about going to the Penn & Teller show.. We'll see if luck is in my favor...
4/15/08: Airfare to Vegas is outrageous since Aloha and ATA went offline. I don't think they'll be any vegas trips anytime soon.
2/27/08: Just got back from a 51 hour Vegas marathon. I finally seen the Fire Bet on a crap table!! I even rode the monorail.
1/25/08: Boy, today will be one for the history books. Thank goodness no one got hurt. I still have yet to hear the final report on the fire.
1/9/08: Happy New Year to the VT surfers out there!! So I made my plans for my upcoming trip. Obviously I wanna play craps, 21 and my new year resolution: more "Megabucks" but I also planned to see a showgirl show, ride the monorail, eat at an expensive restaurant with a strip view, and hire a sexy girl direct to my room from the slappers. (well the last one is probably not going to happen) Also, I plan to visit Palazzo, the remains of The Frontier, peek at Echelon and City Center's ongoing construction. Oh yeah and visit my DJ friends at Red Room Saloon, Pollyester's, and Moorea Beach Club.
12/3/07: Got a great deal on airfare from Hawaiian Air. $390 R/T direct flight w/ a meal.
8/14/07: Well I didn't make it to Bill's Gambling Hall & Saloon, hopefully next time!! All of my friends keep telling me that's still the #1 afterhours spot. Just give me a crap table at 5am and I'm right at home.
3/11/07: Looks like I'm going to finally stay at Wynn Las Vegas on August 12th.
10/29/06: Oh yeah, the Sahara buffet really did suck. It reminded me of a college dorm cafeteria.. I hope the new owners change the dining options.
9/5/06: yay!! i'm finally going to stay at THEhotel!!
BTW, I'm very happy that the Stardust won best signage in this years Trippie Awards. It deserved to win for one last time!

Hi, my name is Steve Wynn, and this is my new hotel. It's the only hotel i've ever put my name on.

My Favorite Joints
My Review of Mandalay Bay
I stayed here twice. I stayed in THEhotel and a suite in the original tower after the remodel. The remodeled rooms are nice, very uplifting tones in the room. I wanted to stay here to swim in the pool, but I never made it to the pool. I was way too hung over to be in the sun.
My Review of Stardust (Echelon Place)
I've been staying here since my first trip to Las Vegas in 1999. Luckily, on that first trip I managed to win at least $100 a day playing the slots there.. There will always be a special place in my heart for the Stardust, and I really wish they wouldn't blow this joint up.. My last stay there was the weekend of Oct. 21st, 2006. I had to take advantage of the last of my Stardust comps. At least I got $65 cash back from all of my slot points!
My Review of Orleans
It was refreshing walking down a smokey hallway. Felt as I was home again... The buffet was good too.
My Review of Mirage
The Mirage is a nice hotel! The animal habitat was kinda cool, but very expensive to see. Seems like the MGM-Mirage corporation is catering this joint to high rollin' family types. The one plus, if traveling with shopping types, the Forum Shops are right next door from the enterance of the Mirage.
My Review of TI (Treasure Island)
From my first visit to LV, I kinda thought Treasure Island was cheesy. Until, 2004 when I walked in for a second time. There is definately a difference since MGM-Mirage rebranded the joint.. Oh yeah, check out Tangerine Wednesday night. I would recommend reserving a table..
My Review of Venetian
This place was alright. Only came here to eat and ride the gondola which was way too crowded.
My Review of California
I love the music they play in the casino. Disco and old skool!!!
My Review of Main Street Station
Nice joint! and great food! but I'm not much of a fan of staying in downtown.. Plus, with the large amount of Hawaii folk staying there from the airfare/hotel/meal packages that Boyd Gaming sells through Vacations Hawaii, i choose to stay else where just for the adventure of getting away from life in Hawaii.
My Review of New York-New York
Did it. Done that. Wasn't totally impressed. I'd still probably go back to ride the roller coaster and eat at Nathan's.
My Review of Paris Las Vegas
I've been up the faux Effiel Tower in the past so I was a bit excited to stay here on my recent trip. One it was the first time staying at a Harrah's property and two, I received a guest comp from a Total Rewards platnium member. Unfortunately, the bed was hard and stiff. It was pretty uncomfortable, and to top it off the bed would crinkle when you roll over. After grinding for 8 hours, i had the worst 5 hours of sleep in my life. It really messed up the remaining 30 hours I had left. Luckily, we we're doubled booked at The Orleans. When we got back after a show, we packed up and checked out.

Fontana Bar was the coolest place to watch the dancing fountains. Probably, because I didn't have a lake view room. Although up-top the faux Effiel Tower was a cool viewing spot for the fountains.
