I've been once and fell in love - nothing beats this city! I've also done more research on the history of the city and it's big players than you could ever imagine, so when I go, it's for the whole package - history, sights, nostalgia, gambling and lets not forget the free drinks!

I stayed here in August of 2006 - my first Vegas trip. The atmosphere and history were incredible - and who can forget that sign lighting up the night sky? Casino was decent sized but didn't have great luck in it. It was great to walk around in it, though, knowing that a few months later it would be dust. They upgraded me to a Strip view when I told them it was my first trip, but since I was only on the third floor all I could see was the Wynn, the pool and part of the Frontier. Furnishings in the place were dated; they obviously decided not to put any money into it once they decided to implode it. Rooms were clean, though. Overall, it may not have been the best joint but in it's day it was awesome. Since it was my first, I'll always love this one!
