I think everyone needs to go to Vegas at least once in their life. Then that will lead to a 2nd trip. Thus beginning a vicious cycle of return trips to Las Vegas. Each time having a more amazing and awesome time than the last.

Venetian
Very large, got lost trying to find the check in desk, and casino, and restaurants. Nicely laid out room for special occasions. Higher priced than other locations on the strip, though some times they do have good deals. Very nice atmosphere.
Main Street Station
Above average buffet, very friendly atmosphere. $1 micro brewed beer! a brew pub on site with some very good beer. Haven't stayed here, but do enjoy the casino atmosphere.
