Mandarin Oriental offered the best hotel experience I have ever had. Even if I don't have lots of money, I set aside enough to stay at MO for one night, usually the last night. Last time I was there, they comped me for use of the spa facilities. If you want to be pampered in a civilized environment, Mandarin Oriental is the place to stay!

Monte Carlo offers the best value for staying on the Strip. MC is right next to CityCenter, close to Bellagio & Cosmo and not too far away from Caesar's via walking. Convenient parking and easy access to the other resorts (if you know the shortcuts). I've stayed at MC many times and MC emails me many bargains at very good rates.

Even though it's connected to Encore and can be viewed as one resort, I personally like Wynn Resort better. Yes, Encore's suites are newer, but there's something about Wynn I really like. The spa facility is designed much better. I like the Wynn restaurants better, but I'll miss Alex Restaurant very much.

The rooms are great. Separate living room. The bed was very comfortable. The Encore property feels smaller than the Wynn, like a small boutique hotel. Wazuzu is a really good Asian restaurant.
