CityCenter Tram Route

No, it's not a monorail. Nor is it a people mover. It's a tram... which we've officially/unofficially christened The CityCenter Choo-Choo.

CityCenter Tram Route

The CityCenter Choo-Choo chugs along an elevated track from a brand new station at Monte Carlo, weaving it's way between Mandarin Oriental, VEER towers and ARIA before stopping at The Crystals shopping district.

CityCenter Crystals Station

Somewhere amidst that angular architectural madness is where the City Center Choo Choo stops. I'm totally curious what that bridge looking thing connecting Aria to the Crystals is. If it is a bridge, you can bet that I'll be the first one to whine from it's apex in the best Robert Plant falsetto I could possibly muster:

Breeeedge, has aneeeeone seeen the breeeeedge?

Where's that confounded bridge!

CityCenter Crystals Station

The Crystals shopping district, with the fanciful Crystals Station perched high above the second promenade level. I sure hope you'll be able to see the CC Choo-Choo traversing to and fro from the mall area... that would be quite... uh... metropolitan. In a Disney sorta way at least.

CityCenter Crystals Station

The CCCC then winds its way from the Crystals around CosmoCurve en route to a brand new station at Bellagio wherein you will be greeted by expensive blackjack tables, back lit ceiling drapes and a ginormous mushroom made out of Pfeffernusse and pansy petals.

Choo-Choo!

More on the Crystals shortly...
