Ongoing Saga Dept:Broken Down Monorail Back in Service
LAS VEGAS (AP) - The Las Vegas Monorail was running Monday, a day after a shutdown stranded some passengers in a train near Las Vegas Strip casinos.
Monorail spokesman Todd Walker said riders were inconvenienced but never in danger after a communications malfunction prompted the shutdown about 4 p.m. Sunday. Some passengers remained on one train on an elevated rail for about 40 minutes, officials said.
