Everybody who knows anything about rock n roll that besides Whitesnake and maybe Saxon (and by Canadian extension Helix, therefore April Wine and Anvil) Def Leppard was, are and always will be the biggest hugest most awesomest crossover NWOBHM to Hair Metal band ever.

Dude.... Def Leppard are playing like a shit ton of shows at the Hard Rock! And they've added two more! Yeah, the Crue, the Guns... whaaaaatever. Def Leppard has always been the best songwriters of that era, even if some of it veered a little too far into polished pop. And, unlike the Guns, there is only one non-original member - Vivian Campbell - and he is the guy at least partly responsible for the amazing music on the first three Dio records. Like come on.

Anyways, I tell you all of that to tell you this... should you be a Def Leppard fan (who isn't?) and you are in Vegas from the middle of March to the middle of April, consider plunking down the cash to check them out.

You can take a photograph of the photograph you can get taken with them while they play 'Photograph.' Whoa!

This will make the first time I have ever bought a plane ticket and booked a room, just because I want to see a show. In 25 years of "Vegas Tripping", no one else has been worthy. I as DL last summer in a large arena and they kicked ass. I can't wait to se them in this small venue, and yes, unlike GNR and VH, you get to see the real band.

I've seen DF three times, once right after Hysteria and two times on the old timers run, I've seriously considered checking the show out in March. They do put on a great show and Joe Elliot's voice is still pretty strong.

I'm wondering if anyone has sat in the balcony seats at the joint and their thoughts on it. Only area left, that I'm willing to pay for, the 2 dates they are playing during my trip.
