Speaking of Boyd Gaming, sources are telling VT that Boyd is redoubling their focus on The Orleans as their "Las Vegas Strip" property. The first order of business is to freshen up the hotel towers and building exteriors with a fresh coat of nice yummy paint.
Might we suggest something along the lines of traffic cone orange?
Watch and learn Loveman.

OK, I'll give the obvious line. Lipstick on a pig...
Unless they start calling it Wynn Weat what's the point?
Even though I stay on the Strip because of the nicer rooms, I always play bjack at the Orleans. Where else can you find a $5 double-deck game on the weekdays and a $10 double-deck game on the weekends?
i hung out at the orleans for the viva las vegas rockabilly weekender a couple years ago, and i gotta say i loved the place.
big, open, airy, attentive service, playable slots, and the pool was small but great. though that could have been skewed because of the rockabilly chicks everywhere. and the live music.
in any case, i loved playing there, and have since gotten free room offers (never took them up on it) every quarter.
tl;dr Ain't nothing wrong with the orleans, man.
I've stayed at The Orleans a couple of times, no complaints here, good gambling, great service and fair prices. If they wanna promote it as their "strip" property, well.... good luck.
The place does need some freshening up, can't complain about the service though, great place and great value
