Will You Book The Cromwell?

This week, we posted tons of groovy stuff about The Cromwell. The question is.... are you ready to pull the trigger and book a stay there?

I have the same feeling I had about Encore: "No, but I'd love to see somebody else's room."

But the answer is sort of unfair since I don't really book rooms in Vegas, so...

Yes. All damn day. Perfect location. Snazztastic rooms with peekaboo showers. Bring it. Love it.

Ummmm...they've posted prices and it's laughably expensive. I guess this one's for the rich under-30 Drai's crowd.

Rooms are silly expensive. Asking for 90$ more a night compared to Wynn during my early June trip. $249 lowest rate seen, even in dead of summer. How fast and far will they drop?

I'd consider them on a comp offer, or for a drastic reduction in price, I just can't see going to Las Vegas and spending 200+ on a room and the 'high' dining experience I have in house is Giada, and 2 of the 3 surrounding casinos have even less (Ballys and Flamingo). Add in there isn't a spa, and I'm not seeing the purpose of sleeping 5 floors away from Las Vegas Blvd with ambulance noise and oontz oontz coming from the ceiling.

I'll be interested in seeing how this plays out, but I'm guessing it's not in the way CET expects.

I actually like the rooms. However, at those rates and with the noise from the street and roof AND with so many other options out there, I see no reason to stay there.
It also makes me hesitant about the Flamingo. The new Cromwell addition is CLOSE. Is the noise going to negatively affect those rooms also.
