Here's a prime example of rumor marketing at its best. Someone just happened to leak to Dish Nation (?) that SLS made an an offer to U2 to play at the hotel's grand opening weekend party.

The offer - $5m bucks, free stay in an SLS suite, free dining, free retail, free spa treatments FOR LIFE! Oh, and they can use the sbe jet too.

A) U2 are mega ultra superstars, they have zero interest or need to do one off corporate gigs.

B) $5 million bucks gets you little more than a Larry Mullin Jr. drum clinic.

C) U2, stay in the SLS? for life? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

D) Bono, buying glasses at the Fred Segal? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH.

Brilliant piece of B.S. rumor marketing... if it gets picked up, they'll have gotten $5 million dollars of free press about their hotel opening.

Thanks Mac for the tip.

I hear that for $40,000 you can get Cheap Trick.....

I was surprised to see how affordable some popular groups are. http://priceonomics.com/how-much-does-it-cost-to-book-your-favorite-band/

Funny thing is the last time I saw them it was in Vegas at Sam Boyd Stadium. But I agree, they don't need the money and I doubt they would even want to be associated with a LV casino opening! lol

Wait 2 years, you can get Miley Cyrus for a tube of Vagisil and a 4 piece Chicken McNugget.

^And a bag of shit mall weed from the fucking arcade.

Miley will be alive in 2 years? I say her hologram will be introducing strippers at various gentlemen's clubs at best.

pkluvsvegas.... I think you just won the internet
