We've been tracking offers from the chocolate curve lately, always finding friendly presentation of fuzzy numbers.

Late last week VT mastermind MissMonkay received yet another offer from Wynn | Encore, which contained yet another promise of discounted rates, but now wrapped in a brand new reservation system. The details.

Book three or more nights in a Wynn Deluxe or greater room and get two complimentary passes to The Buffet (~$100 value depending on when you go and how much you can eat.)

First, the control group - searching for base rates using browser (Chrome) that doesn't have Wynn cookies on it.

Rates for the mid-week dates chosen - July 1-4 - penciled out at $219/night.

A second search using a different browser (Safari) showing the Red Card offer.

Rates for mid-week dates chosen - July 1-4 - penciled out at $151/night... a whopping 40% discount! Looks like they finally fixed their pocket calculators. Huuzzah!

I think it's closer to a 30% discount unless you're counting the buffet costs, too, but that's a legitimately good rate (no sarcasm), especially if the upgrade is available.

Unfortunately taxes and fees bump that rate back to about $200 a night.
