A few weeks ago, MissMonkay fired up the YouTube on the AppleTV and said... you "GOTTA WATCH THIS VIDEO!". Usually, when she says something like this, I expect to see a pile of pug puppies plopping around in the saggy baggy chubby butt puppy pyjamas. This time is was a series of videos by Japanese comedian Megwin, wherein he and two friends hatch a plan to "Check Out All Hamburgers!!" in Los Angeles.

The rules - order and consume the "most popular combo" at 10 of L.A.'s most famous hamburger joints. The eater was to be decided by the front left tire of their car, which had been turned into a quasi-roulette wheel, with each quadrant signifying one friend and one quadrant a wild card. Whichever quadrant was facing the ground when the car stopped at the burger joint would decide who would be eating the "most popular combo" at that restaurant.

There are six episodes in this series, with each video about 8-10 minutes each - a great way to kill an hour at work. Go forth and enjoy.

So I'm sure you're asking... "Chuck, why are you sharing this non Vegas Japanese game show styled eating competition on VegasTripping?" Gambling? Burgers? Eating till you puke? Is there anything more "VEGAS" than this? Absolutely not.

Watch the videos. All will become clear shortly.

So, is someone thinking about a #VIMFP version of this?

Heh, this is a fun set of videos. I only finished the first five so I'll save the last one for my train ride home.

It is nagging at me, though - I have the strange feeling that in my youth in the 70s, there was a "Queen" related burger on the BK menu, presumably a bit smaller than the standard King burger. But maybe this is one of those implanted memories that's not really true. (Christ, I got in real trouble for the last one of those I had... granted, not as much trouble as my old pre-school teacher. Sorry about that, Mr. Bates...)

Yup. This game is SO Vegas. Especially what they asked for at McDonald's.

At first, I thought this was a parody, but after a few minutes, I have to give these guys props for both the massive consumption and doing it in a second language. Side note: That's a clever Modern Family ad visible in the final two minutes of Video 4 while the Most-a Fat Burga is being destroyed.

Vespajet - That is a fantastic idea!

That was very funny! I enjoyed it , thanks for posting it.
